NO! SCAM! RUN!
Well known scam. Good thing you came here to ask.
The perpetrator will create an email that looks like it's from PayPal, telling you that you've been paid and that it's okay to ship. Of course, you haven't been paid, so you'd be out the item and the money.
Just stop communicating with this person altogether, and don't correspond with potential buyers through texts. Period.

Run,Run, Run faster
Stay away from that has scam all over it.
Always keep communication on the eBay messaging system, Never ship to any address other than what is on the invoice from eBay.
If you went through with this you would get a fake email about payment and have absolutely no protections for a few reasons.

In one of your messages you wrote " I want to get scammed"..lol...you were predicting your outcome had you gone through it...
Go to YouTube...look at these scammers...there's a ton of videos on it, some are hysterically funny when they get confronted...
Yep...very common scam...

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!
Never take communication off eBay. There is never a reason to give your personal info to a prospective buyer. In fact, it is a policy violation to trade contact information thru eBay messages prior to the sale. Ebay will come down on you like a hammer if you get caught.
You will not have a sale with this scammer. He is trying to part you from an expensive item with a fake payment. So sorry!

YOU SHOULD NOT BE LISTING AN ITEM THIS EXPENSIVE ON EBAY AS A NEW SELLER.
DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT UNTIL YOU GET A LOT MORE FEEDBACK, KNOW ALL THE INS AND OUTS, AND KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.
YOU WILL LOSE YOUR COIN.
SCAM

Change your phone number.

Why are you asking $1,000 for a coin with a market value of about $2?

Sorry but Scammers live off people like you. "I want the sale"

Ah, there is NO sale - as you would define it - to be made here. The only 'sale' would be you giving the scammer your item and he keeps his money.
You have been advised, take it or leave it.

Yep. There are enough ways even with a valid payment.

There are several things about this post I don't understand. Like sending something of this alleged value, via bare-bones shipping, with no insurance. WHERE'S the "intellect" ?😳

He cannot "hack" your phone number any more than you can hack phone numbers of your own friends and family. If he had your physical phone in hand, that might be different, but simply knowing your phone number does not give him any nefarious advantage there.
What makes texting him so risky is that it gives him an off-eBay line of communication with you. He can send very official-looking but entirely fake messages, supposedly from eBay or PayPal, telling you that you've been paid and directing you to ship in order to get the money deposited in your account. Obviously no money will ever appear. He doesn't need to hack your phone to do this; he just needs to fool you via a method that eBay cannot see or intercept.
