slow ? that's putting it mild, my sales are down over 80% in the past month  and over 80% since last year .

of course my fees are the same , that's why I reduced my inventory of over 600 items to 26 items .

I'd close " my " store but I don't want to get slapped with a fee of over $60 for closing it early .

I've earned a new badge though for posting helpful posts !!  big deal !

Re: Has anyone else been slow these last few weeks?

It is slow everywhere.

Today I usually have the quilt ladies come and they buy up a storm.      There were only  a few and they bought pretty much nothing.

I have a friend who has a fabric store and her sales are off also.     She thinks all the chaos in Washington is making people hold on to their wallets and so much of the conversations in her shop are about Korea,  Healthcare  and Trump.

I also think Ebay has a lot of glitches.    I was looking for a black and white fabric for a dress for my Grand Daughter.   I typed in the name and I got page after page of puffy bows,   craft items,   floral fabrics by the yard and other nonsense.

It took me 3 searches to finally get the fabric.

Re: Has anyone else been slow these last few weeks?

Yes, strangely slow.

Was chugging along with steady sales, not a lot but something.

Then two weeks ago, all stopped.

Havent had a sale. That has never never happened.

A few items in particular, we have had a quantity of, and have sold steadily. Not now.

Views way down also.

Guess we need to quit reading the community and list more.

But slow sales sure takes away motivation.

One thing we're experiencing is lack of best offers on rare items.....nobody even wants to make a low offer these days.

Well , My sales are way down. For the month of October I have had 5 sales, Now 2 were best offers and They never paid , 1 did a buy now and 20 mins later asked to cancel, The other 2 were for about 4.99 each. Not sure  10.00 a month is worth it any more...

Re: Has anyone else been slow these last few weeks?

Just talked to my cousin in Florida - he was on the fringe of the hurricane and the streets still aren't cleared. We lost some pretty big areas of the US to flood damage and the wild fires that are still ongoing. Be thankful you have a roof over your head. Many buyers are distracted right now wondering where their going to get the money to replace everything they lost - including jobs!

yep no sales since Tuesday, close to 600 items and have only sold 30 this month. Starting to branch out to other platforms as it's clear you can't count on ebay.

Three sales in the past 48 hours -- but that's actually above what I've been doing for the past several weeks. My prolonged slump actually began last July. Ah, for the good old days of five or six sales per day on average -- and often "bonus days" with more activity.

I had a stretch of a few good days last week and then everything completely dried up. I'm just spending the down time trying to add more items. Not sure if it's even helping because from what I'm seeing, I'm not getting any views either.

Re: Has anyone else been slow these last few weeks?

we were taking at least 4-7 packages to the post office everyday and I was listing around 5 new items 3 or 4 times a week, we weren't making huge amounts of money but it was helping with our bills, my husband and I are both retired and living on a fixed income.

I put in a lot of time and effort sourcing  stuff I put on here, not to mention researching , taking photos, listing, keeping track of sales, boxing stuff up and running to the post office .

that's a lot of grief for making a sale that's marked down 75% off , then I have buyers wanting a refund because they tried on one shoe and deemed them to be the wrong size. I must be wierd but when I get a new pair of shoes I try both of them on ,walk around in them, see how they feel and then decide if they fit me.

enough ranting about my buyers , my point is that all of a sudden the bottom dropped out and our sales went flat .

Re: Has anyone else been slow these last few weeks?

Wait, are we talking about the website being slow or sales being slow. Title doesn't specify!

Anyhow, if it's in reference to sales, things have been pretty steady here. In fact the other nigth I listed a $200 item and it sold basically within about 2 hours of listing it.

I'm not trying to brag by any means, and I empathize with those who are suffering.
