Ground Advantage. Need Simple Answer

Most of my listings ship First Class and I charge a set $4.50.  What do i have to do? Change all my listings to ground Advantage? Will they automatically change? I've read everything I see on this and have no idea what the answers are.

After July 9, you have 30 days to change "First Class" to "Ground Advantage."

The ebay system will not automatically change your listings.

You will have to manually adjust your shipping option from 1st class to Ground Advantage. On 9 July, I will be bulk editing all of my listings to update the shipping option from 1st class to Ground Advantage. That should be easy as long as the Bulk Editor cooperates on 9 July. 😎🙏😁

You have the option to, at this time, bulk edit your listing to "standard" with $4.50, and be done with it, or as has been suggested wait until "ground advantage" becomes an option.

Latest word that I have read from eBay "blues" is that 1st Class will not automatically change over, but for 30 days the listings offering 1st Class  will be fine with eBay generating a "ground advantage" label allowing for time for a seller to "update" the shipping.

I have multiple "shipping costs", so I went ahead and got them knocked out ahead of time.

On or after July 9th [within the next 30+ days], just use the Bulk Editor to change all your listings.  That is what I will be doing.  Like you I have a set rate I charge for shipping on many things.  So using the bulk editor to adjust things is so much easier.

I did that on purpose a couple years ago because of how fast things change for USPS and their rates.  I got tired of adjusting listing by listing.  So now I have a handful of groups I just call up and bulk edit as needed.  I save tons of time.

What I read, is FC does not automatically change you need to update manually (individually or in bulk), and after July 9.

I jumped the gun and won't wait for the 9th only to have them change it again in a few years when I go from 11K in listings to 20K in listings... I changed all my FC listings to "Standard shipping 1-5 days" which does not lock me into any one specific service. Now my listings are changed, and this situation won't be my problem again anytime soon.

No if there are any changes to be made when you do business on Ebay, EBay will most likely do it. In terms of using a shipment software, PayPal will more than likely do the same thing. It will prob. be up and running ahead of time.

If your still having problems, then you might want to use a third party software, which would mean cutting and pasting a lot of information. But more than likely, maybe one day Ebay will have a shipping option built into their package as a seller instead of going out to PayPal to print shipping labels.

my understanding is that it Does automatically change USPS 1st class, unless you use an outside shipping service.

Personally I may just put my store on vacation a few days before and after July 9.  I don't hold high hopes it will work out very smoothly across the entire site.  Or interface with usps seamlessly.

How can you do this, can you sort by the shipping selected?

it will automatically update as long as 1st class is the only shipping method offered on yr listing. If others are offered you must manually update. This news just came out today.

Can you provide a link with info that 1st class will be changed automatically.  I have only read the opposite so far.
