Ground Advantage. Need Simple Answer

Most of my listings ship First Class and I charge a set $4.50.  What do i have to do? Change all my listings to ground Advantage? Will they automatically change? I've read everything I see on this and have no idea what the answers are.

There's a bulk editor? Where? Does it also work for bulk removing promotion on listings?

I just went through and did a bulk edit on my First Class package items.

The USPS Ground Advantage is available to use right now. (I've been using it all day).

Seller Hub > Active Listings > click on listings to edit > Click the Edit button located just under the word *Results* > Edit Selected

That brings up the Bulk Editor.

Don't know if it will remove promotions as I don't use Promoted.

I still have several first class envelopes (8.5x11" size).  I haven't read anywhere if I will still be able to use them or not.  Anyone else read about this?  I checked the USPS site, but the answer wasn't there.

The United States Postal Service is consolidating its ground shipping options by combining USPS Retail Ground®, First-Class-Package®, and Parcel Select Ground® into a single service: USPS Ground Advantage™.  

Here’s what to expect on eBay beginning July 9th  

Printing labels on eBay 

• We’ll update labels automatically. If you had a sale with First-Class Package or Parcel Select Ground, the label will print and display as USPS Ground Advantage™. 
• If you printed your label prior to July 9th, USPS will continue to accept packages with the previous services for a period of time. 

Updating your listings on eBay 

Ground Advantage will be available as a listing service on eBay beginning July 9th: 

• Listings with Parcel Select Ground will automatically be updated to reflect USPS Ground Advantage as the shipping service.   
• Only First-Class Package services are moving to Ground Advantage. First Class Mail for letters and envelopes will remain unchanged.  
  • If you ship with First Class Package, you will be able to update listings to USPS Ground Advantage over the next 30 days. Business policies will also need to be updated.   
  • If you ship letters and envelopes with First Class Mail, no changes will be required.  

• Listings with Retail Ground will need to be updated to USPS Ground Advantage.

If your still having problems, then you might want to use a third party software, which would mean cutting and pasting a lot of information. But more than likely, maybe one day Ebay will have a shipping option built into their package as a seller instead of going out to PayPal to print shipping labels.

What does that have to do with what the OP asked?

No Ebay is NOT making the changes to individual listings to change FC to GA.  That will be the seller's responsibility as of the 9th.

There is plenty of information on this thread that will tell you this statement is incorrect.  Sellers will need to change their own listings after the 9th.  Ebay will NOT be making the changes to active listings.

What is to work out?  Ebay isn't changing active listings, sellers have to do that.

Are you talking about Bulk Editing?  If so I sort my active listings by the amount I charge for shipping.  That will cluster my listings together that I can easily tell what needs to be changed and it makes the Bulk Editor so easy to work for me.

Ebay changed my Parcel Select Shipping Policy today to the Ground Advantage.  I didn't touch it.   Ebay For Business on Facebook also told one of the moderators of another group this:

I'm waiting until Ebay officially changes the 1st Class to see if we will continue to get the discount we get using 1st Class under 1 pound.   They have removed the Parcel Select and added the Ground Advantage to the Shipping Calculator but 1st Class is still there.

Interesting.

This made me go look at my listings.  Now of course I didn't look at all listings, but from my spot checking I see that they have been changed to Standard Shipping, which is NOT the same thing as Ground Advance.  

BUT if I go into my listing to the shipping section, it still says it ships FC.  That is curious.

Anyone else seeing this????

Except that they have.  At least on my account.  My listings that read FC now read Standard Delivery on the listing.  But if I go in to revise the listing, the shipping section still reads First Class.
