On the 11th I got an MC011 restriction and an email asking to upload all the proof of deliveries. I have literally hundreds. I have been an eBay member for about 24 years but recently started a side business in my retirement. I buy liquidations of Philips Hue and other automation gear and was selling it on eBay. I enjoy a 100% rating and my customers seem satisfied and happy. No real issues.
I am guessing that the rapid increase in sales has triggered this action - I normally would sell something only occasionally but as I mentioned I am starting a side business. I think that it is completely reasonable to investigate a rapid increase in sales as that could be a flag for an account take over or other scam. But in my case, it was just success for my new business.
Someone from eBay could have just inquired and I would provide whatever documents or information they might require to verify my legitimacy, however, instead, they restricted my account, cancelled all my listings and froze payments to me. I have reached out multiple times via chat and phone to try to get to the bottom of this but no one returns my calls or answers my questions.
In the meantime, I have purchased additional liquidations and now have no where to sell them. Worse, I have repeat customers on eBay that want to purchase.
This process is clearly broken and I do not know how to make progress in getting it resolved. Any ideas?

Chat is pretty well worthless for problems like this. You'll need to get to Ebay for Business on Facebook or Twitter and upload images of your invoices or something similar. Lay it out pretty much like this: you were an occasional seller but have started a new business. The Bots froze your account. Please help. Personally though I think I'd start a new account on Amazon too, so if something like this happens you're not dead in the water.

evelyb30 Is exactly correct. Contact ebay through Facebook through the contact us link.
Those are real ebay employees unlike the contracted outsourced CS.
Keep it factual, keep it brief. Just the facts.
Please come back and let us know how this goes.

No one's forcing you to use Facebook. Nothing says you have to use it. Use the "Help & Contact" link at the bottom of any eBay page.

I think the Facebook link online with Ebay for Business is one of the best things Ebay has ever done. No more phone calls to outsourced drones who dont understand a thing you are talking about.

Nor do you have to. But if you want to talk to real ebay employees, it’s your best bet.
Make a throw away account and use that. I think Twitter has a ebay page as well but I have never used it.

Have you done as they asked? It doesn't sound like you have. There's nothing you need to chat to eBay about. Give them tracking numbers that show you shipped within your handling time and everything got delivered.
I believe you'll be restricted until you comply.

We all have our druthers. Some eBay members prefer overseas eBay reps with no real authority to actually solve problems.
Some prefer eBay reps from here in the states that can fix problems and produce results.
To each his/her own.

Most large companies including eBay are using Facebook’s messenger service because that is how many people communicate today. Facebook messenger service is akin to gmail which is part of Google. There are urgently 988 million active users of Facebook’s‘ s messenger service worldwide and the number is growing. Just because you use Facebook messenger doesn’t mean you have to use any of their other services. The messages sent thru Facebook messenger are private and not seen by the public.
I’m going to give you a tip. Next time when you are flying and if your flight is cancelled don’t go to airlines service desk at the airport and stand in a very long line to get rebooked. Don’t get on get on your phone and call the 800 number to get rebooked. Go to Facebook messenger or Twitter page for the airline and you will get rebooked much faster. You an access all the major airlines, large banks, and etc. on Facebook today and get better service. This includes eBay.
No one says you have to use Facebook messenger but if you better service you should.

Checking on this. Just sent them a DM.
Last issue I had that we could not completely figure out here was Dec, 19th 2021. That was the last time I DM'd them.

This world and everything in it doesn't have to make ANY sense. Do as suggested or flounder going nowhere. It's the prerogative of everyone; but only the ones that are willing to listen will succeed.

The first step is to make sure that you have already uploaded all the tracking numbers for all the transactions in question. If you haven't, then I advise you do that right away. Depending on how the MC011 was written, you probably also have to show online proof in the ebay system that everything was delivered to your buyers. Make sure all the items have been delivered to the buyers. If you have any open cases, you will have to close out those cases before responding back to the ebay MC011.
Have you fulfilled all the requests from the MC011 notification?
There could be a couple of scenarios.....they could be thinking you're a drop-shipper or that you're a risky seller right now due to the sudden increase of sold items.
Fulfill all the requests from the MC011 notification & be prepared to show proof that you purchased the items.
Good luck!
