Check your relisting fees. I have just ran out of my free 250 listings for the month, and Ebay is charging me relisting fees BEFORE my listings are ending. I just found three 25 cent charges for items that don't end for 19 to 23 hours. I was going to cancel the listings just before they expired to avoid the fees, and I am getting charged EVEN BEFORE THE LISTING ENDS!

Is it possible that these were in the categories that the auctions will not list without an additional fee? I occasionally find myself listing an auction item, only to scroll down and see a .25 insertion fee because of the category.

And YES, I get very irritated when folks say that the listings we have paid for are free. They are not, they are literally the only reason to have a "store".

LOL Yes, I should do that! I even downloaded my listed id numbers last night & I counted them today, just in case I was wrong about how many listings I had left. Nope, I was right; I counted 229 id's which means I still had 21 listings to go out of my 250 from last month (July)! 😞

So now we are going to have to pay close(r) attention to how many listings we use as opposed to how many Ebay says we've used.

Today, the first of the month, it was easy to go back and count how many I've actually used in the past couple of hours. When I called customer service the guy I spoke to wanted me to tell him which 2 transaction numbers were not listings I created today. I told him there was no way was I going to sit on the phone with him and look through 67 transaction NUMBERS to figure out which ones were incorrect. It was easier to count the actual "newly listed" with close ending times.

I have been making a small note to tape up over my computer to remind me daily when things close. See photo.
I put the abbreviation for my shop then note the day and hour the earliest item is due to close. I make sure to close a few hours before they close/relist on their own. I have only missed 6 items so far.
(THANKS eBay, another chore added to all I already do.)

I'm wondering if this glitch is only affecting Stores or all listings?

I don't have a store and please see if you can refrain from telling me I "should" have one and "how much I'd save".

I listed my first item for the month today. So Ebay deducted one from my 50. Now they have charged me 35 cents. Also they have designated four more that will renew in 16 hours as 4 more of my 50 which, of course, I didn't want them to renew. It makes you want to get away from any corporations

Same here... Charged for 3 items on 7/31/2019.

Problem is that those three items are set to end today 8/1/19...they still have more than 6 hrs left.

and I also had enough free listings to cover them had they actually ended yesterday.

Have 2 other acct's i haven't checked yet. hopefully its only this acct.

Just more work to make sure we don't get charged wrong...

I am losing my allotted and paid for store listings at a rapid pace. I called customer service and they are reading off listings to me saying I relisted them when they still have over 12 hrs left to go before they rollover or end! AND I END ALL MY LISTINGS EARLY TO AVOID THIS! Guess they found a way to block us from ending our listings early! I can't work under these conditions. This is A SHI" SHOW!

WOW! Just lost another fixed price/GTC listing since my last post. Ebay just took away another one of my allotted fixed price listings---I am now down 3 and that's even after I called customer service about this issue.

This is not a "glitch in the system" or a technical issue. It is a out right rip off that is set up by the accounting system and eBay policy. This is the first time I caught it but it has been going on for some time and is still going on. Illegal automated activity by eBay policy and the accounting team is going to be the end for all of you.

I hope I've come to right place to address this issue, if not, please direct me to the proper channel.

The CSR is inundated with calls regarding this matter and no one seems to know about this problem happening.

Speaking for myself, generally I:

1) make use of the "Ending Today" on SH (seller hub) to organize all the GTCs.

2) Today, there is no items on "Ending Today"

3) However, 6 items that are scheduled to end Aug 2, 10:13 am pdt has been taken off from my basic Fixed BIN

(250 allotments).

4) Today, I only used 5 out of the 250 Fixed BIN.

Please advise, should I cancel all the 9 items ending Aug 2, 10:13 am pdt to avoid this issue pending correction. corrected.

This ending 24 hours ahead of end date schedule has not happened to my account before.

Yes, if you are out of free listings it will charge. As well they charged me BEFORE my listings had ended, with 20 hours left to go. I was going to cancel them before the end, but did not get the chance.

I am getting double charged. I have listings that were charged insertion fees yesterday and then the same listing pulled from my free listings today. I have the same thing happening today. Listings ending tomorrow have been pulled from my free listings today.
