Getting charged for Buy it Now Reinsertion before the listings End

Check your relisting fees.  I have just ran out of my free 250 listings for the month, and Ebay is charging me relisting fees BEFORE my listings are ending.  I just found three 25 cent charges for items that don't end for 19 to 23 hours.  I was going to cancel the listings just before they expired to avoid the fees, and I am getting charged EVEN BEFORE THE LISTING ENDS!

I hear ya.  Yesterday I was shown I had 62 listings ending.  This morning I wake up to see I have been charged by EBAY .10 cents for over 250 listings that were that stupid GTC.  I had 68 remaining allowed for this month.  The GTC scam is such a money making rip off by EBAY I just can't believe that sellers are going to put up with this **bleep** for long.   See they know many months have 31 days, but the listings only last 30.  Then when you think you are okay like I did yesterday having a 68/62 count, so I should have had more than enough to cover the day.   But as you can see for yourself, you probably were ripped off by EBAY on relisting. 

It is wrong of them to not offer the 30 day listing and they know it.  They are making a bundle off sellers who unknowingly get hit by these small charges and may never even notice.

Yes, I just found out this happened to me as well.  Not only that I had 21 listings left earlier today from my 250. I was going to relist some auctions after they ended to make up the 21 before the month ends.  I went to do so & noticed I was being charged .25 for the items. So I cancelled that & started checking; then I noticed that it now said I had used all of my 250 listings already! 

The only items I had ending today were auctions, so nothing should have been automatically relisted. That's when I went to My account & saw a .25 fee for 2 books that are still showing 21 plus hours left before they end! So not only have I lost 21 'free' listings, I'm now being charged for listings that haven't even ended yet! Yikes!

This type of situation is exactly why I end all of my GTC items up to three days before they end. Only on a select few do I let them relist. It is also the reason I downsized my store in June 2019.

I ended a few listings yesterday to avoid the automatic GTC renewal. Ebay charged me a insertion fee for those plus they charged me insertion fees for items that have not ended. I payed my eBay bill yesterday and that is the only reason I was able to catch this accounting rip off they pulled. I'm sure it has happened before and I did not realize. We need to find a lawyer to take on a case. This along with several other illegal activity is going on. Keep screwing over the sellers and there will be no more eBay.

This is not a cost free option but it at least gives you more services to use for your money.  I use INKFROG.  THey have a widget that will end your listings a day before the ending time.

I have been using this since the GTC Scam started.  I have not had any issues with over billing.

I just about snapped - I paid my account in full last night, and then this morning it said I still owe $156.00 - After showing nothing due last night.
I'll end everything and close the account if the balance does not self correct by tomorrow.

It looks like I have been charged for relisting GTC items even though I have a "Premium" store - 

The credit should show shortly, if not, the fan is going to get hit with something.....

Why can't we get back to the good old days of simply selling stuff and having fun doing it?

This must only be affecting sellers who had GTC rolling over on the last day of the month?

I've checked all my IDs (and my daughter's) and none are showing this issue.

Yes, As a e-bay seller  I think this is worry to charge an insertion fee went I not at this point have no control of my business E-bay has taken this away from me. I would like to think I manage my time well with e-bay listings not anymore. Now I have to end my listing early too save from being charged. E-bay has taken my control away hoping for change soon.

Yes I caught this yesterday also. 12 or 13 of them I was charged even tho they were about to end. Actually started to laugh and thought ebay get it together when you screw us sellers and force a change!m Saw I was charged and the listings still had about 23 hours to go. I was going to cancel most of them today. I called and got my credit for them. I do think this was mostly from listings that were started on the 1st. At least for me it was. 

I also think its a programming error ebay did not fix After they decided that GTC was not a good option rolling over every 30 days for listings starting on the 1st. So ebay then changed many of my listings to go for 32 days so none would be relisted in the same month but the programmers missed something in the change

No way will I cancel that early.  I cancel sometimes as little as a few minutes before they end. Im getting my pennies worth. ebay had an error. You can call in and get your credit. They will fix it. Again...
