I have buyer who used a freight forwarder and bought something rather low priced. Their shipping address is the exact address of the freight forwarder company and says "c/o Oceanic Freight" but doesn't have any other unit/box/reference number.
Do all freight forwarders require a unit/box/reference number to process it to their clients (my buyers)? Or do some just go by the recipient name? I'm not familiar of how freight forwarders run their operations. Stamps.com is asking for a unit number for this address. I messaged the buyer, no answer. I tried calling the Freight forwarding company and no answer. Should I just send it knowing that I'll be covered by Seller Protection once the tracking shows delivered? Buyer won't have any MBG.

What state is it?...Maybe give us a city also...

I wouldn't concern myself with a unit number.
I would ship it to the address ebay provided.

First off, it will be delivered to the correct address regardless.
It's not like it's going to someone else.
I'm sure they can call their FF if they don't process it. But yes, FF's can go by the name to match it up with what client it goes to. Typically not the best way because they can have multiple clients with the same name. However, if the FF makes a mistake the buyer shouldn't have MBG regardless, as it's void once the package is forwarded.

I'd mail with no problem.........as long as it's the ebay address.....you should be covered..........

Most forwarders require a code to match it to the proper client but I have shipped a couple of times to forwarders that did not (no code provided and the buyer said it was not needed).
Just to be sure I would message the buyer (or the forwarder?) to confirm if one is needed or not.

That is risky, with some forwarders no code means no forwarding and it's always possible the buyer does not understand the importance and may have neglected to add it to the forwarder address they provided to eBay.

What is the actual buyers address on the detailed info? (i think that's available to you)
Maybe (just throwing darts at the dart board) someone works at that address bought something you are selling?

I would ship it ... but I like to live dangerously.
I guess the op can make a decision based on her risk tolerance.

you don't get the "buyer's address"
all one could do would be to check feedback for registered country, but that does not mean for a fact that it is being forwarded.
probably is, but as others post, could be employed there.

Yea I do think of that each time I hit one of these. I'm more adamant about finding out before shipping and wait a day or two for the buyer to answer if it weren't a FF and missing a unit number. But I'm probably going to end up shipping it out today because this buyer won't have any MBG. I'm tired of racking up so many late shipment dings because buyers don't know their shipping addresses.
I guess I'm risky like Mr. James Danger Inhawaii

Florida is a 'freight forward' state.
I take a photo of package with postage on it and send it to the buyer as a friendly hello your package is in the mail perhaps going freight forward and I understand you might live in (their country name ) so it might take longer to get to you and I date the email. I also have a file of all International packages dated per day in case of an inquiry which I do get.
I had two freight forwards 2 weeks ago...to Colombia and Kazakhstan.
Both buyers replied back thank you after I sent them emails.
I have been lucky so far.

It depends entirely on the forwarder. I use two different Japanese ones; one of them gives customers their own individual customer number and the other one doesn't.
