Flea market going gangbusters but eBay is deader than a dead duck.

When I do the flea market I sell neat old stuff like crazy and many times it's just as much as eBay and lesser quality. I know flea marketeers that can sell over $1,000 in less than 3 hours and most of it is rusty and worn junk. Many great items on eBay are being ignored at low prices. Much better place than most big time indoor and outdoor auctions and antique shows.

Re: Flea market going gangbusters but eBay is deader than a dead duck.

For the last two years, I have sold exclusively on eBay and it has been very rewarding. Since September, sales have came to an abrupt halt.  I'd like to continue selling exclusively on eBay - and to be honest, I don't have it in me to haul my stuff to a flea market. I promote everything I sell. I've even been doing a bit of the advanced promotions. I just don't get it. What's different these past two months?

Yes and no. Some are dead, some are buzzing, you just need to drive far enough sometimes, because around the cities is where they are usually oversaturated with sellers having the same items.
