Because eBay charges 13.25% on the total sale amount. This includes taxes and shipping.

It was 12.9% until about a year ago, eBay raised it to 13.25% for most categories. There are some categories that are higher and some that are lower, but 13.25% is the most common. I called Ebay and they said it was a glitch. They said that I should have been charged 13.25% Looks like Ebay may be looking at a fewe increase.

All my previous sales (not many) states I was charged 13.3 %. It was not that way 2days ago. I do not shipoutside the US ever. Why the international fees etc

I been on Ebay for 17 years and I know what the fees are. But all my sales that I can pull up NOW state 13.30%.

Check the actual math.......

On a store item, where fvf are 12.35..........this is the breakdown

While the breakdown shows 12.3%..........the math is actually 12.35%..........for some reason they've truncated the %..........

5.0255..... 40.85 x 12.3

5.0449 40.85 x 12.35

devon@ebay Seems like that fee % should show accurately?????

I was thinking stores are supposed to be 12.25% with non-stores being higher. Mine also show 12.3%. What is the percentage on non-stores for the collectible category? I looked around and kept finding the store fees but not the fee without a store.
