I checked a sale from yesterday and was charged 13.3% fee. why

nope.......the math is right.......6.76

51.05 x 13.3 =6.789

51.05 x 13.25=6.7641

that time, they rounded up the %, but the amount was actually for 13.25

I didn't realize you were trying to dispute 0.05%. I'm sure it's how you do your calculations with or w/o the $0.30 fee.

Thank you for pointing that out. I know all my transactions always stated 13.25. Why would Ebay change this on all my transactions.?

As CS said.........a glitch......which translates to me that someone changed the "rules" on how to show the fvf %'s......but the change didn't (fortunately for them) translate into changing the calculation......

@the-hook-and-the-loop  has nothing to do with the 30c.......it's an error in how they what they show as the fvf %......  the math is wrong for 13.3%.....the math is actually calculated by multiplying times 13.25%.......which comes out to the correct amount.

Wrong! I was not trying to dispute anything but it was very confusing to me because the transaction amount was alway listed as 13.25%.  I do do my calculations  w/o the $.30 fee. I wish I had realized that they were actually charging 13.25% not the 13.30% that was shown. Very confusing!

It's weird.  I guess I'm doing something wrong, but my math doesn't seem right.

One of my last sales $55.53 is showing a fee of $6.86 at 12.3%

I'm not getting that for either 12.3 or 12.25?

I guess I shouldn't complain.  Most of mine state 12.3% --- just realized that.

Years ago a Ma Bell worker added 1 cent to every phone bill and deposited it into a special account they milked.  Maybe its an old wives tale.

55.53 x 12.35=6.8579  which would equal 6.86 rounded......
