I would disagree with that. IMHO the most telling feedback is done by Buyers. The Feedback they leave for others. I have found that immensely telling over the years, especially with those abusing the system and it's sellers.
Sorry, to clarify it's pretty much garbage to me. I use IPR on all of my listings so feedbacks left by buyers are almost all useless to me. Every time I would go see a buyer's feedback left would already be after the buyer already bought and paid me.
With the ones that need post sale customer service, honestly I would have acted the same way with the buyer had I never seen their feedback which is giving them benefit of the doubt. With exception to I'd say maybe less than a percent. So yea, seeing a buyer's feedback left doesn't really impact how I deal with them.
CHANGE OF THOUGHT: Actually I would say the most valuable thing in feedbacks is the reply a seller gives to a negative feedback they received. But this would only benefit me if I were an avid buyer here, which I am not. I know there is MBG, but still I wouldn't want to waste my time buying from some yahoo who has totally unprofessional feedback replies (including false positive feedbacks left).
