Why is a group site called "eBay Scammers, Refunders, Block these Buyers, Thief, Be Careful!" allowed to be on Facebook posting usernames and feedback and telling their members to avoid these people on eBay? We all can have bad experiences on eBay but why can the details and personal information of eBay members be publicly posted on Facebook or any other social media?

Because eBay has different rules from Facebook -- they are two entirely different companies.
Facebook reminds me of one of those old Western towns from the 1870s and 1880s -- no rules, tons of fraud, wall-to-wall insults and lies, knee-deep in corruption and graft -- and very little "law and order."
Think Tombstone, Arizona, before and during the Wyatt Earp period.
Plenty of room still available at the O. K. Corral -- and Boot Hill.

Never knew this group existed, thanks, very helpful. The reason it exists on FB is because it is not allowed on ebay discussion boards.

This Face Book group is just a place to vent to others that have had the same thing happen, in the big picture it accomplishes nothing.

Looked at the first one on there and it's the basic seller name calling just because of the usual auction countdown misunderstanding.
Apparently the "scammer" seller allowed a bid after the auction ended.
I didn't see any point in reading anymore.

There's a group for/against everything on facebook isn't there?

Because only one group of people here can leave neutral and negative feedbacks.
Feedback serves as a warning for others to reference. When one side isn't able to use feedback to warn others, they find another way to do that.

That would be a question for Facebook.
why can the details and personal information of eBay members
Usernames and feedback are publicly available to anyone, even people with no eBay account.
or any other social media?
That would be a question for the other social media.

It's not just FaceBook and social media sites, there's bad buyer list every where.

Well. It would probably take 6 months for anybody on Ebay to put these people on the block buddy list so useless.

More likely the reason it exists, In our opinion, is little to nothing is being done about the problem - more specifically, and especially if the problem happens to be a buyer...

Because Zuck doesn't care - we're all digital serfs to him

I just checked out that group . They just giving out warning 's about the buyer and sellers ,the group members did business with .

I wouldn't worry, most sellers are not just going to put buyers on their block list out of sheer hearsay, and those who do, probably a good thing too.
