There are still 1500+ KN95 and K95 masks listed on eBay. It would take eBay a second to remove these, so there are not even trying.

eBay's site, eBay's rules AND not unfair...eBay is allowing specific sellers to sell and that way they can eliminate all those sellers who jumped on the bandwagon - most of the sellers who are whining & complaining about not being able to sell these items and/or have had their items removed are sellers who were not selling this sort of item PRIOR to the Health crisis, but rather AFTER the pandemic became a world crisis, so that indeed is trying to profiteer from this health crisis...
Sellers who cannot abide by and/or disagree with eBay's rules, policies and/or think eBay is unfair, have a choice and are free to sell their items elsewhere...
eBay has stated:
"we are proactively selecting a limited number of sellers to provide certain types of inventory and there is not currently an application process for becoming approved to sell these items."
"there are a variety of items where certain sellers have been authorized to provide inventory. We identified these sellers proactively, and we aren't able to provide additional detail on the qualifications used in this process."

I have been selling cloth face masks on ebay since March without an issue. Then I created a listing with multiple masks at discounts and they are banning me from selling. There are 50 pages of people selling masks and I am just trying to pay bills. People want to buy cloth masks and my prices were level with everyone else. I guess I will have to try to sell them somewhere else. Once they tag you that is it I guess. Not fair at all.

KirtamDesigns, they will never remove the designation. You were flagged, early on, when they were shaping the policy. They recently adjusted the policy, but the reps are brain dead. They repeat the company's COVID policy, even though it has been changed. They will not remove the price gouging, mark on your account. Your account is as good as toast. Make a new one, file a BBB complaint, and delete this account. You will get nowhere with them. I have told them please take off the designation, of price gouging, yet they wont.

I have been selling masks on eBay for a while, now all of a sudden it says that my product is susceptible to price gouging. I am not selling them for too much. I am selling them for seven dollars each, which only gives me about five dollars profit once I pay for shipping. How is that price gouging?

I'm in the same position. The worst thing is that your 16 years or good seller or buyers dont count. Hard to get in touch with someone knowledgeable. We have lost our rights: " The People"
Even if you proof that you are not price gouging, (have all the support) they wont accept it, yet others can sell it? What kind of jungle are we living ? This is just one example, they have done more descriminatoty things by tons!!!!!

This still doesn't completely solve the problem. I need to be able to use "color" as a variation, and this category won't let me.

Hey Rebecca. Maybe you can help me here? I can't even use the word 'mask' in any listing title. I'm just trying to sell a kids halloween mask and it won't let me due to 'price gouging'. It's almost 2022, over a year out from all that madness, what gives?
