Fees so bad I almost turned off ads but I know that's not the route I'm even getting charged for list price and not actual price this is crazy I'm not surprised so many devoted ebayers left the platform. I want to give customers nice deals but with fees I'll just be doing charity work

You are selling items in saturated categories.

In 26 years of selling here, I have found that those who leave eBay do not understand how this platform works.

Are you drop shipping from Amazon?

Diversify both your product line(s) and the venues you sell on.

Turn off "ads" and lower your prices.

It also looks like you are drop shipping and do not have the stock yourself.

Everything you are selling I can get at a local store cheaper or through another site direct.

The business that makes money from drop shipping is the supplier.

When I see stock photos in a listing, I usually move on

I just lowered my ad revenue finally seeing a profit. Yea people been drop shipping on eBay for years it will never stop but the fees are actually criminal. Also when you buy from me you get expedited shipping 2-3 days max I feel like that's worth it since I'm drop shipping

Your prices are not competitive.

Is your "profit" pre or post income tax? You actually don't provide the expedited shipping your supplier does. Wishing you the best but drop shipping is a poor business model and most sellers that attempt it do not last long and have their account suspended due to a drop in their performance metrics.

Hopefully you've read and understand ebay's policy on drop shipping.

Legitimate drop-shipping where you have a working contract with a supplier to fulfill your orders is allowed.

The sleazy practice of selling items you don't own then purchasing from another retailer or marketplace like Amazon to ship directly to your buyer is NOT allowed!

No they aren't.  If you are using Promoted Listings, then YOU voluntarily set the ADDITIONAL fees you are willing to pay for a sale.  That would not be Ebay's fault, you voluntarily set and added the fees.

You are a new seller and the first thing I'd do is turn OFF Promoted Listings all together.  Get your feet wet and learn how to sell.

You also have a store, why?  What store level did you sign up for?  Starter, Basic, Premium, etc.

Typically you can get a store to pay for itself until you are going to run 300+ listings regularly each month.

Did you sign up for a monthly subscription or a yearly?

Listings I saw have ground advantage which is not expedited shipping.........if you are paying for priority shipping.........that's  part of your problem.

What you "feel"  is not necessarily what "buyers" feel........

Not selling anything with ads anymore.. it's pretty bad.  Locally prices are right there with eBay now as they've gone up in value vs eBay down in value.  Not to mention the crazy increases in shipping costs
