Ebay is clearly allowing the selling of merchandise that breaks their own rules of exploiting tragedies (human and animal), as well as promoting violence. Just search for "aligator" and how many "Aligator Alcatraz" items show up?? Disgusting.
What's next?
Holocaust exploitation
Nazi gear
Cruel and unusual punishment is still prohibited under the 8th amendment in the Constitution.

I've seen pictures and videos of Alligator Alcatraz and I've walked the grounds of Dachau. There is no comparison of Alligator Alcatraz to Auschwitz or any other concentration camp and the horrors and atrocities those innocent victims endured. Equating the two is a shameful disservice (to put it mildly) to those victims and trivializes the holocaust.
Alligator Alcatraz is a detention facility for illegals that houses the worst of the worse in a clean, air conditioned environment until they're deported. Some are rapists, murderers, thieves, child molesters, gang members, drug dealers, human traffickers, etc.
However, if you do have credible proof of illegals in Alligator Alcatraz being starved, murdered in gas chambers, shot by firing squads, medically experimented on, or incinerated in ovens, please do post it.

I live in San Francisco...and what I get out of the topic is free advertising of Alcatraz Island tourist attraction...and let's remember Alcatraz was a prison for the notorious who we locked up and thought they couldn't escape but some kinda did.

The KL were in operation for years. They were also advertised as housing the worst of the worst at their inception.
If you truly believe the vast majority of undocumented people being picked up and locked up for indeterminate lengths of times are hardened criminals, have I got a bridge to sell you.

From Alligator Island to Elis laland
Hey Mister, I didn't just get off the boat and I'm sure not buying any bridges from any dodgy guy from Brooklyn.
The political axes are getting a good sharp grind.

The worst of the worse are being tracked down and removed from America. If others who came across the border illegally are detained and deported, that's fine too, because they are here ILLEGALLY. This administration is cleaning up the mess caused by the prior administration.
America's communities are safer with the murderers, rapists, drug dealers, human traffickers gone. Unfortunately it comes too late for Laken Riley, Jocelyn Nungaray, Rachel Morin, and so many others. The lives saved as a result of the deportations might even be yours or that of a loved one.
All the people screaming and wailing about this administration's efforts to enforce the current laws weren't bothered about the deportations that occurred at a greater rate under previous administrations, including democrat administrations. TDS is rampant these days, clouding all common sense.
Where is your credible proof of illegals in Alligator Alcatraz being starved, murdered in gas chambers, shot by firing squads, medically experimented on, or incinerated in ovens?

It couldn't hold Sean Connery.

Nothing to that extent, but the AP is reporting on worms in the food and wastewater on the floor. Sounds inhumane to me.

Reports based on what the detainees are claiming, which doesn't mean it's true. If it turns out to be true, it needs to be corrected. Did you complain when Biden held detainees in inhumane conditions?
AP, June 21, 2019: 'There Is a Stench': Soiled Clothes and No Baths for Migrant Children at a Texas Center' The article went on to describe some pretty awful conditions. Odd though, I don't recall the same outrage as I see now.
That's just one article about the detention facilities, but there were also inhumane conditions because of the open border, including illegal migrants having to sleep on cold sidewalks in deplorable conditions.
None of this business with Alligator Alcatraz would be happening now if the border had been secured during the last administration. There is a lot of misery happening to illegals and American citizens because of it.

Actually, I thought Biden was a terrible president. Obama was the deporter-in-chief. Don't get me started on Bush Jr. They're all miles better than this orange clown, but yes, I complained regularly about American leadership.

We are entitled to our opinions, and I respectfully disagree with you about Trump being an "orange clown" and the others being better.
Anyway, the purpose of this thread initially had to do with Alligator Alley items. They should not be banned by ebay, either pro or anti.

Guess you see things in a different light. But am having a hard time understanding the meaning of your post. I used to do that (differnt light seeing thing) after 1 or 42 Coors light. The later quantity when I started at breakfast time - like 'em at 40 F.and pored down the middle of a chilled mug (foam and all). You can make Pearl Beer* taste 1/2 way decent by doing it that way.
*Texas born under the bottle cap there is a game - but it was cheap - at least until 1996 when I moved out of state.

You honestly think that detainees are giving interviews to reporters !?!?!?!?
You are absolutely correct, Biden did not secure the boards or try to as he should have. So yes, he is at fault for that. However that doesn't give free license to do whatever you want to do in the name of securing the boarders. Trump has already done that. The boarder is secure. So lets move forward and now resolve the issue at hand and that is illegal migrants inside the country. The VAST majority of them are NOT criminals and do hold actual JOBS.
I take no issue with getting the criminals out of our country, I do however take significant issue in the way it is currently being handled. I respect your point of view is different than mine. I don't mind that at all. We are both entitled to have our own points of view.
