The new packing slip no longer allows you to include your own message. You can choose from one of eBay's pre-written messages, or you can choose no message. You cannot edit or add to their pre-written messages.
Over the years, eBay has tried to make the sales process as uniform, standardized, and impersonal as possible. I'm not sure what they're trying to achieve by taking away our ability to include our own message.
This is not an improvement. Yes, I know I could handwrite something, or take the time to copy and paste all the information to create my own packing slip, but this shouldn't be necessary. I wish that eBay would allow us a few options in how we choose to do business.

Another unnecessary change.
Another launching of a site change with the kinks not worked out.
Another series of scrambles by sellers to find "work arounds."
Another inconvenience for the sellers.
Another attempt to "help us."
Another example of ignoring of what works for sellers.
Another stumbling block that slows down our business.
Another not listening to their sellers.
Another pain in the .....
Just print the packing slip through PayPal if you use that to generate labels.

In my selling hub, the packing slip has also changed to nothing more than the title of my listing and the quantity. What next?

I just tried the workaround (going to shipping labels). It appears that link brings you to the same "new" packing slip page with no ability to customize. It seems that's been taken away.

They now changed the "old style" in seller's hub under "manage shipping labels" today to this new format. I am beyond perplexed since now the city & state are on different lines and the comma separates the state and zip code instead of city , state. Another HUGE problem is that variations are not showing correctly -- the first variation just repeats itself for the whole slip. My 12 yr. old niece is able to write better code than whoever eBay chose for this.
I am now just cutting & pasting into already formatted word documents that align with my various sized personal stationery. Again, more lost time due to an eBay change/ glitch.

Wow, this is ridiculous. Mine isn't even printing the buyer's address or my address. Absolutely useless.

Short and sweet response to your post ~~ I HATE it!!

Yes, mine also cuts off the quantity.
Also, if you combine the shipping on multiple items, the packing slip only prints out ONE item. You have to go back to your list and print separate slips for each item sold, a pain in the ass.

Tried that. Doesn't matter, it still prints off the right side of page.

Using Chrome helped overcome the problem.
Also, if you are using Firefox, you might see gibberish and incorrect tracking numbers on your labels. I solved this my using MS Edge, but now I'm moving to Chrome for labels and packing slips.
eBay isn't making this easy.

Turns out my adblocker was somehow blocking the Buyer/Sender address on the new packing slip... Lame.

Ebay...the new print packing slip page NO LONGER ALLOWS A SELLER TO ADD A PERSONALIZED MESSAGE that the seller can create. In my case, I use this section as a means to include ingredients and directions for use. Without it, i have to create this and print it separately, and include it in the shipping package (extra paper, extra step). This is an inconvenience. Why was this changed?
Also, I'm sure I'm not the only seller who has been asking FOR YEARS to add an option for BULK PACKING SLIP printing like your competitors offer? Instead of answering this request for convenience, we have been inconvenienced with a new print packing slip page that decreased functionality.
Please change it back or release the new print packing slip page with the option for sellers to add a personalized message of their own design, like before, which didnt need changing. Thank you
