No it isn't. This new EIS is leaps and bounds better.

Make an appointment with SCORE and consider their advice. The Service Corps of Retired Executives offers free counseling. https://www.score.org

What i meant as a clean way out, is i will not be locked into a contract for another year, I can see how this Christmas season goes & then decide to stay or go, most likely it will be go.

Changing your store level doesn't clean out your listings. Dropping to a Basic store is just simple math and will save you a little money since you do not need a Premium store. Month to month or a yearly subscription. The difference between the two on a Basic store is only around $5 or $6 bucks with a yearly subscription.
If you wanted for some reason to keep your Premium store, you can change it to a month to month if you wanted to.
I'm amazed at those that have decided that they Holiday season is going to be a lousy one. There is another thread that was started on October 4th already claiming the month has lousy sales and the Holiday season doesn't look good. I'm not at all sure how anyone can gauge their sales for any month by the 4th of the month. Nor claiming the Holiday season won't be good. That would require a crystal ball. LOL
But for you, you may very well be right since you have no desire to lower your pricing on items [not all your stuff] is overpriced. It is in your hands. If you prefer hanging onto the inventory or sell it. It is up to you.

They just were giving you a resource, a free resource that may or may not help you and others.

Then you were not using EIS. You must’ve been using the service they gave discounted international shipping rates – but not the seller protections of EIS or GSP.

Suppose you had told the advisors at SCORE on Jul-28-12 that:
a) I want to open a toy store on eBay.
b) I plan to set my prices at 200% to 300% above the average or median price.
c) I estimate that it will take me 14 years to sell the inventory. See message 31.
d) For the items that I have between 12 and 144 units on hand, I estimate it will take me between 168 and 2,016 years to sell.
e) Would they give your business plan their approval?
Since the advice given by eBay sellers is unsatisfactory in your view, perhaps you should consider the free advice of SCORE.

When the sell through rate is that slow you are also dealing with the very real issue that you likely would have done much better just investing the money in the first place rather than buying inventory.

There is this notion that eBay is responsible for selling his listings at a 50%-200% higher price than the competition.

EIS is the bomb. Best protection in online sales with a payment processor involved. No brainer.
OP might be enrolled and not even know it. Not being enrolled is just plain kicking yourself.

People here have been advising you. It is up to you to take the advice or toss it out the window. You are firm in your beliefs, I respect that. But sometimes that can cause you to overlook a better way to handle things. That is sad, but still your decision to make. EIS is different and better than the old program. You either didn't read the policy link I gave you or you just assume it can't help you. Still your choice to make. We can only give you the information.

They should have had a better way to handle things like sticking to their word!, If this system is so much better, That means their old system was indeed faulty & they should reimburse me the money i lost due to them!, Get them to do that & i might trust enough to try the new one

I used to use the old global shipping that went to Erlanger, but I don't remember it promising to handle returns. That feature of the new shipping program is a big deal for me. I had completely stopped offering international shipping till this program came out. So far, I've not seen any posts where they didn't honor their promises. It almost seems too good to be true.
Wow, first post that has actually gone through today. All I've gotten up to now is "too many requests".
