I am offically 100% had it.
I got negative feedback for packaging. When everyone else raves about the same thing. Buyer obviously has no idea how free shipping is possible.
Use heavy duty card protectors and no sleeve. My goodness a lack of sleeve it not something to give feedback about! Ebay does % all wonky to drop 1.4% for 2 bad feedback seems weird.
Work so hard and bust my butt hurting myself packaging so nicely much better now, and this is the thanks I get!!!
Now I am sobbing uncontrollably. I can not do this anymore when I get treated like this by buyers!

If you are going to get so upset, do your self a favor, sell higher priced items.
You have dollar items with free shipping. You need to set a minimum price which allows for the emotional wear and tear.
When you sell online, you will have some hurtful buyers.
Dry your tears, you are better than those buyers, but you need to act like your time has value.

Agree with the above.
You've been giving it away, that makes it worthless.
If you can't sell it, donate it to landfill or use it for kindling.
But first ... take the week off.
Get a Margarita.
Find a beach to run your toes through.
Get a facial. Massage.

This is just business, not personal, so grab the reins and stop giving others power over you like this. You're selling to the public and that means you're going to get all kinds, especially when you sell dollar stuff - the cheapskates are usually the worst. As said upthread, your time has value.

I've had a couple of bad reviews left ... almost in a row.
Just happened.
It can get to ya, especially when it's not deserved.
It's hard to greet the next customer with a smile and the right attitude after that.
I took a couple days off, and went fishing.
I feel better now. I can do it some more now.

Have both giving away but just until tax time. Was taking August to trim inventory.
But have higher priced items in the que for September once free listings reset to 250.

The first thing you must accept in selling here should be to always think as a business, no matter how small. You must not take anything personally or you will fail. Ask yourself what would Walmart do. It took me a while to understand that, but once I did I could handle negative issues better. Separate your "feelings" from your business. I wish you luck!

In some ways it might be a blessing. Back to my other job teaching preschool and busier got reselling a lot over the summer.
Definitely will concentrate on more expensive and banknotes, since never had a single issue with the protective holder I use to mail them in.

It actually is bad for the card to put it in a top loader without a sleeve. Some people want to grade these cards and that could cause the card to be damaged in shipping if there are dust particles inside of the top loader as it moves around during shipping.
He probably wouldn't have minded if he got the card in just a sleeve between two pieces of cardboard with no top loader. That would save you a lot of money as well. You should see some of @onefootflipper posts about shipping cards he says to never use a top loader it has a much higher chance of getting rejected by USPS using the eBay standard envelope program, and it's also extremely expensive.

Defiantly get rid of the free shipping, also when I send out cards I always use a penny sleeve as well as a top loader. Not using a penny sleeve can ruin the card with scratches. Try to get away from the PWE, with the eBay standard envelope, you can get tracking for a single card, in a penny sleeve and top loader for .63 cents. It's best to not give buyers a way to get free stuff from you by providing a tracking number.
I too get emotional from time to time, we are human. Hopefully this will pass for you and you'll get back to rocking and roiling with sales.
Best wishes to you

I just cannot understand your business. $1 items with free shipping? Is there something I do not understand as I cannot see any profit whatsoever. At the very least you should be bundling these items and selling at a higher price point

I feel bad for you, getting a negative feedback never feels good.
I will say a little criticism I have for you is that you think free shipping should have a lower quality standard.
In my opinion you shouldn't have that outlook. You should just see it as that you baked the shipping into the price.
If normal market for an item is 5 dollars and 3 dollar shipping, I would expect you to price it at 7.99 (beating your comp by a penny).
Your standards should be the same no matter if your listing is free shipping or not, because free shipping advertisement is more designed for a mental manipulation than actually being free.

You're not done if you still have 220 items listed for sale.

Please don’t take offense, but if you are uncontrollably sobbing over a negative review, eBay/a difficult buyer is not your problem.

Buyer wasn’t hurtful - just commented on poor packaging. I think it is okay to tell someone when she is overreacting.
