Is there some way to turn off, disengage the AI function. I want to describe my items myself. However, after I have typed in my description, when I hit "done", nothing happens. I'm stuck and cannot move on to the next step in my listing. The only way it will let me proceed is to delete my typed listing and then click
AI which then throws in this elaborate, generic description that I hate!
HELP!!!

Did you not get the information you wanted from the other thread you started a few days ago?

You are NOT required to use AI description. It is an Option.

I know that I am not required to use AI. I'm not using it. If you read my post, you will see that the problem is that I can't get it to accept my description that I entered. Once I have finished typing in my description, I hit done, and it's like my screen has frozen. Can't t go any further unless I hit back button, then it takes me to the beginning and everything I have entered regarding the listing is gone. Have to start all over.

No, I didn't. Someone suggested I click undo AI, but, that would mean I used AI in the first place. I have no option to "undo" AI.

Are you working with the Mobile app, or doing this in the desktop/laptop browser?

I think the disconnect in the responses on this thread is that the OP asked about how to "turn off AI", but the real question is why the OP cannot save a description.
I am skeptical that simply "turning off AI" would somehow magically allow the OP to save a description.

I'm seeing this on the listing page:
Note at lower right corner "+ use AI description" can be toggled off/on........
Be sure it's toggled OFF, before you start filling stuff out .......not sure that would work.......
I don't see a place to click "done" on the listing form for description, so don't know if you mean "list it"......or if you are using a different form than I am.
