Does anyone know if they removed the Request Total from Seller Button?

I've had two instances this week where customers were trying to purchase multiple items from my store but the shipping was high.  I told them to use the REQUEST TOTAL FROM SELLER button and I would send them an invoice for combined shipping. ( I realize you can do also combine after but I hate doing the whole refund thing. )  Both customers didn't see a button.   I know they are fooling with the site, so just checking to see if they removed it.

I'm confirming seeing the same on the iOS app. You'd think eBay would have put this in the October Seller Update.

Why isn't eBay shouting this from the rooftops devon@ebay ? Sellers and buyers both have been asking eBay to add a request total link in the app shopping cart for so many years. I didn't think it would ever happen.

Can you tell us if that same wording, "Want to save on shipping with this seller? Ask the seller to ship items together." appears for all sellers?

Specifically, if the seller has automatic combined shipping rules set up, that language would be misleading buyers to think they can get an additional discount.

The link is good, but the text we can do without.

Hey @wastingtime101! This new feature is available on the latest version of both Android and iOS. It will it will only show for sellers who have enabled combined shipping/ invoice.

Hey thanks for getting us that info devon@ebay . In that case, can you pass on my above feedback about how the link is good, but the text is bad?

I've had a couple buyers recently that requested a total through the cart even though shipping was already combined per the combined shipping rules I had set up on those listings. I thought it was odd because cart on website generally shows the combined rate pretty clearly, but it makes sense buyers were confused if it was done through the app.

I also think it would make sense to put the link lower in the app cart - by where total ship cost is displayed. Putting it above the items is like advertising a sale or something.

Back when the feature was first launched on the website I remember a bunch of us saying it didn't make sense to have the link at the top, but it's even more awkward on the app.

I'm really good with either way, refund the shipping for the discount or put it in a cart and request combined shipping.  I usually tell the buy, buy it now, pay now and you secured the item, I'll refund you at the time of shipping.  But if you "request combined shipping" it may take me a 1 day to get back to you, and the items could be gone.  Buyers choice, but I'm good either way.

I should try buying from the AP just to see how it works for customers, I have always used a laptop or chromebook
