Sellers Like myself and others have been selleing a while on e-bay and I don't think they care if we stay or leave.
or stay. it has become more of a buyers site then a sellers site, the changes they have made lately to are more to help buyers then sellers. and this new way to sell is as worthless has it can be I have been using it from day one and to this day have only sold one item and they say it is great what a lie. it is a waste of time to contact e-bay becaues they don't care. it has been so hard to sell on their site lately and them seem not to want to change it for the better, this is whay I will not renew my store November 1, it is tiem to move on, have started putting my items on other plateforms and seem to be selling more on them then e-bay. the store closeing I have started is a waste still no sales on e-bay, my invoice for will becomeing out how do they think sellers can pay them if they are not selling. and this way of wanting you to lower the price lower is just another way for them to control your store. I would rather give everything i have to goodwill them to keep putting up with the no good changes e-bay keeps doing.

I think there are so many sellers, it makes little difference to eBay. There are so many pages in same categories that buyers can't get through them. Recognizing this, eBay found another way to increase its profit by offering preferred listing position / promotion for a fee.

Ebay is unfortunately not your mother, babysitter, good luck charm, quardian angel. They are a partner with you in selling merchandise and they do give the tools to be successfull. It's up to sellers to sell what sells, keep up with the competition, work WITH THEM to be successful. They are currently having a fit about AMZ stealing some of their best sellers. What do you think that means? Are they valued, you betcha.

No. Not really.
Ebay only cares about their shareholders and stock prices. In fact, that is all that every corporation is required, by law, to care about.
If that means keeping sellers, they will. If it means dumping sellers, they will do that too.

You tell em luckeyeagle...That pingpong has been here for ages and thinks they are a know it all...Last time i reacted to their comments was over a year ago and they are still blowing the same old smoke....Have a nice day luckeyeagle

no it is not the sellers fault...It is simply that there are no lookers for that type of product at the time it was listed

Luckeyeagle........One cannot tell what they think in these pages otherwise ebay will take it down...
It all has to be their ( ebays ) way or no way... The USA 1st ammendment means nothing in ebay.
I thought you would have worked that out by now..... We simply all have to place in here what
ebay wants to hear.... So a condescending remark maybe the only way out of it for some.
It is just like saying YES DEAR to ones wife or girlfriend... Or if they feel they dont want to
say those words, simply say Y.D as that is the same but abreviated.
Me personally, i like the Y.D as that is soooooooo condescending.

I agree somewhat. I think there are lookers, but ebay plays the shell game. I look here often since I am a medium volume seller. The problem is Ebay likes to hide listings, throttle views and pick winners and loosers.
I mean you do the same search and contiually come up with different answers....If I search for an item by lowest price plus shipping. I buy the the product which is the lowest price. I scroll down and Ebay shows me a whole other selection of the same item that are lower and were not in my original search?????? I mean WT heck is that.
Ebay, its simple. Give me what I want, how I want it and without a bunch of hassle. Easy Peasy, but Ebay has to throw a wrench in.
So, No. Ebay cares about nothing but made up numbers to make themselves look good with invetors

I am hanging in for the time but it takes so much longer to list items and to navigate the site now than before. The new seller hub is a horrible change. Ebay should offer the classic or better yet just do away with the new system.

Yes you are right , it has turned to a Buyer's Site. Buyer's are never wrong.. But we know they are.. Always report the buyer if he says the item does not fit or the descpirtion is wrong.. If you are 100% sure of your item, fight the buyer tooth and nail..He is abusing the ebay return policy and comminting fraud. I refuse to paid for someone to look, use, or handle our items.. Selling on this site used to be fun.. Now I have more returnds than sales, No sales now for 3 days in a row.. Thanks Ebay

I would like to say if you can't take constructive criticism from someone you might as well not post here. Not everyone is going to agree, but isn't that the point of starting a conversation. If the only reason people are here is to start a flaming war, it is a waste of time. It would be much more constructive to either try and make the situation better, eBay is listening, they recently admitted the decision to not allow new items to be put on sale was a huge mistake, and hurt a lot of sellers, which was not their intent (BTW I was a huge critic of this and made it known right away!). It was to stop scam sellers. I read one post here getting on Pingpong517's case for spewing the same stuff for years, perhaps if you listened you wouldn't be so upset. They are apparently successful selling here or they would have left. We run two stores here and are doing very well. We sell estate jewelry, coins and collectibles.
I have had many things to complain about on here, but what I did was actually comment to the Devs, I gave suggestions, I joined the eBay expressions group. I have direct contact with eBay management and development now. Any of you could help if you wanted. They really do listen, they are real people, not some machine, but just like in a face to face conversation, attacking gets you no where very fast! You may call me a fan boy, I promise that I am not, I have been just as furious with things at times as anyone else. But in all reality we need to work together to make money as with any business environment. Oh, and I am not an eBay employee, I joined the groups to help sellers, it has made a difference.
