when an item has been delivered, how long will it take for ebay to take a payment off hold, after being disputed by a buyer.

Has the dispute been closed in your favor?

If not, did you respond to the dispute in the appropriate way, with the appropriate information, and in the appropriate time frame?

Re: Dispute

Well, you'll have to (at least) get the dispute behind you. Without knowing what's up with that, we'd only be guessing.

If the dispute goes in favor of the buyer, they'll get their money back & you'll receive no funds for that sale.

it was a request and their order has been delivered, so how long will ebay usually take to take my funds off hold

Re: Dispute

It feels like there are several different things going on here:

1) You appear to be a new or infrequent seller, so often there is a payout hold of 30 days just for that.

2) 'Dispute' could mean a number of things but I'm guessing from the context that the buyer filed an Item Not Received case/dispute.   Make sure you respond to the dispute, adding the tracking information that shows that it has been delivered.     If tracking shows as Delivered, and you did add it to the case, you'll win the dispute.  In general, holds for disputes are released shortly after the dispute has been resolved.  If funds were already on hold for being a new/infrequent seller outside of a dispute, you'll still have to wait.

Re: Dispute

it is still open, I am trying to find out ways to close it in my favour, I have responded in an appropriate amount of time, and uploaded tracking information, for which it says delivered

If the buyer closes the request it should happen very quickly, if the buyer does not close the the request then it will time out in about 21 days and that is when the hold is removed.

Re: Dispute

thank you so much, this really helps, what are some ways I could get a hold of the buyer, except for messaging (I have tried this and it is not working)
