Dispute Selling Fee

I had two items that I removed the reserve within the allotted time and trying to get the two fees removed from my account.

I've never heard of an allotted time to remove them without being charged.

Would bet that many of us have never heard of an allotted time to remove a Reserve.

Can you quote the actual section of the seller information where this is shown?

It states on the listing form that the reserve price fee is charged upfront and whether or not the item sells.  It won't be refunded.  Rather than use it, set the price at the lowest you would accept.

I can't find the snippet I saw it on now, but it said within 24 hours and if there are no bids.

Support was able to reverse the charge.

From the help pages:

"...When you lower or remove a reserve price, you won’t receive a credit for the reserve fee..."

A bunch of us would love to see that snippet for clarification. Most of us hate to give wrong advice....

I think support gave you a courtesy refund. I have ben here 20 years and have never heard of any "allotted time" for removing a reserve.

I agree; that was a 'courtesy refund'; there is no 'alloted' time to remove a reserve. Once you click 'List It' and it shows the fees that will be charged on the same page, it's too late to 'remove' it.

Are you certain you're not referring to the snippet that tells a seller how long he has after listing to cancel the listing?
