to I recently sold sneakers to 2 different individuals that required me to send the packages to the same address, assuming to be sent to their locations since their actual locations weren’t displayed. However the packages went to the wrong locations and one of them had gotten a pair that was meant for the other person.
I believe somehow the tracking numbers were probably mixed up when put in eBay and now I have no idea how to fix this issue as I have never dealt with this before. What do I do???

The authenticators are pressured to work quickly, so they only check that whatever is in the box is authentic then just send it out to the buyer, rather than comparing with the listing as they should, even details e.g. if extra laces are included.
So it really sounds like you switched them while affixing the labels, as it's unlikely that an individual authenticator would happen to get both of your packages at the same time to unpack and mix up.

Well thank you for getting back with us, I gave you the links to Facebook or Twitter to reach out to ebay. If you don't have an account for either, sign up ( you don't have to join friends or any of that nonsense)
Explain there has been a mix up at the authenticators and they sent the wrong shoes to your buyers. Have the item numbers, and any pertinent information relating to this case.
There is some problems with this service at times which really needs to be addressed.
Good luck to you.

Another thing, did you get an update email from the authenticator to view when their process was done to make sure everything was correct?

I looked back at my email to check what you were talking about and this is what I found, it states that the item was authenticated. And it stated that it was delivered today:
But then that begs the question, how come for the 12’s— I did not receive an authentication email, and i look over the tracking details and it says that it got to the Authentication address, and that’s it. No tracking updates past that point.
this is what it states for the Air Jordan 12s:
(last tracking update)

I noticed the Facebook link doesn’t work, but I will create a twitter and address the issue for sure along with the information you mentioned. I am a fairly new seller and I’m very appreciative of your insight and knowledge you are providing me. Thank you so much

As stated in previous comments, before I had boxed up anything, I was speaking to the individual that I sold the Black/Red 12s and had placed in the box and as I began to seal it, I took a picture of the shipping address and name and confirmed with the person if the address and name were correct. Including the ebay code (which I do not know what purpose the code serves, however I had physically written the address down).
I cannot express it further as I have no way of showing that it occurred, I only have pictures of the addresses on the boxes as proof that I had written the ebay codes and addresses correctly

OK you got the email for the Jordan's size 13 and they were shipped from the authenticator. Now, down on the bottom of this email is the item number, does it match the correct customer?
Or are you saying that the customer/ buyer who you were corresponding with received this ^^^^ above shoe when buyer in fact bought the size 12 Jordan's that are still being processed thru the authenticator?
The link to Facebook I sent is copied, just sign up to Facebook and type in the ebay for business link.

Hi Tyler, is there someone out there that could help @surn14 with his mix up orders from the authenticator, OP states his buyer was sent the wrong size of Jordan's. This was sale that involved 2 sets of Jordan's size 12 & 13, the size 13 is one that was sent, the size 12 are still being processed. Thank you.

The code is how the authenticator knows where to send the package to after it has been authenticated. The code identifies which buyer and transaction the item is for.
Are you saying that the two pairs of sneakers that you sent to the authenticator, for two different buyers, were switched at the authenticator? So they sent sneakers A to buyer B, and sneakers B were sent to buyer A?
The address on the two packages was the same, right? Only the codes were different?
If that's what happened, then the only likely explanation is that you put the wrong code on each package. I mean that you put Code B on the box with sneakers A for buyer A, and Code A on the box with sneakers B for buyer B.

Ok this is a new update of the situation;
Let’s start from the beginning here
the tracking for the “black/red 13’s(Sneaker A)” ; which had not gotten to buyer A and has not had the tracking information updated since it’s gotten to the authentication center.
however, Buyer A received the “Black/Red 12s (Sneaker B)” which was meant for Buyer B. And I’ve been in contact with Buyer A and attempting to work out the situation and does not seem they want to send me sneaker B back.
But as of this morning, I noticed a paper from usps stating that they attempted to deliver a package to me and could not secure a delivery location. So I had rescheduled it to be delivered tomorrow. I believe this is the “Black/Red 13s(Sneaker A)”, as I have not ordered anything online or had anyone ship me anything.
Below is the information of said package; this is only speculation that this could be the item.
I whited out the location details of the city and state, as I don’t know how strict the rules are about mentioning those types of details:

Definitely only speculation, I am only updating you guys so you can be aware of what’s going on. But just in case if it does happen to be the package, you guys would at least know beforehand with the information I provided earlier. So I wouldn’t have to go into details about it later

tyler@ebay could you look into this issue and help me resolve it. All of the information regarding the issue is above in my replies, if there’s any other information required— could we chat more about it.

OK, @surn14 thanks for the update and additional info.
tyler@ebay: FYI
It sounds like this is what happened. At any rate, this is the most likely scenario based on what we know so far.
For the package that was delivered to buyer A:
For the other package:

I firmly believe that I did ship it correctly, but if the problem did happen from my behalf then I’m willing to accept my error.
I don’t know if me giving the post office all the the boxes in the same order could’ve been the issue. Hopefully this situation could work out for all parties involved
