Delivery issues with the EBay Authenticator

to I recently sold sneakers to 2 different individuals that required me to send the packages to the same address, assuming to be sent to their locations since their actual locations weren’t displayed. However the packages went to the wrong locations and one of them had gotten a pair that was meant for the other person.

I believe somehow the tracking numbers were probably mixed up when put in eBay and now I have no idea how to fix this issue as I have never dealt with this before. What do I do???

Well, color me confused...

Did you send both pairs to the Authentication Service and from there  they were sent to the wrong buyers?

I sent the correct sneakers along with the EBay codes to this Authenticator address which they were supposed to ship to the sellers,

but for whatever reason they approved the sneakers and shipping the wrong pair to the buyers.

The issue was not on my behalf as I only shipped it to the location it required me to send it to, but the issue started once it reached to the authenticator.

2 different sellers, 2 different eBay codes. But they somehow sent it to the wrong address for both.

Oh. Dang. I've heard that the Service is fraught with issues, but haven't heard how they remedy this one. Sorry...

Sit tight and wait for posters with actual experience. I feel like eBay will have to cover your hiney, but want confirmation.

Think your correct " mt".

OP sent both Jordan's to the same address which was the authentication Addy, then they mixed up the shoes and sent them to the opposite buyers of OPs. What a mess. OP, you need to contact ebay right now.

Perhaps you mixed up the shoes and put the wrong shipping label on the package when you went to ship to the Authentication dept  and  the ebay code  and the tracking are now with the wrong shoe.

Lift your left leg at midnight to start off on the right foot. Happy new Year!

I hand wrote the addresses and their respective eBay codes, and for one of the buyers I was in contact with— I had confirmed the address of the Authenticator along with the eBay code. So it could not have been the addresses/names/eBay codes written on the packages. I have pictures of the labels I wrote on the packages, but I cannot provide it here as it is against the rules

I'm not buying that version.........the authenticators receive hundreds of packages every day the odds that one person will get both shoes at the exact same time are pretty slim.

That said, if the shoes were not identical they should be referring to the listing and would see that the shoes don't match the listing.

A mix up by the seller is more likely but still it might not be the reason for the switch.

The buyer that I am in contact with— did not receive the both, he received the OTHER persons order.

eBay required me to send it to the Authenticator  address which they are supposed to confirm the eBay code/the sneakers itself/ and if the listing matches the user.

afterwards, they shipped the item to the person(s)

@surn14

OP please review those 2 orders that sold on March 31st, in your solds does the buyer who bought the blue Jordan's match up correctly? And the other pair does it match up with the correct buyer?

Also what buyer are you corresponding with? The blue pair or black pair?

@slippinjimmy believes this mixup may have come from your end. Please return after viewing your sold orders.

The blue Jordan’s are not related to the issue,

But it’s the 2 black and red Jordan’s. The 13s and the 12s.

The blue Jordan’s were the actual persons address, which had gotten to them perfectly fine.

I shipped all of them the same day, and had confirmed with the one I sold the 13s if the address was correct (at the time not knowing it was an Authenticator site I was shipping it to). And he has assured me it was correct and that location is where it is authenticated and they ship it to him. I was actively communicating and knew which box belonged to who— because I had put the 13s in a box first and hand wrote the address along with the eBay code before I did any other package.
