Hi everyone,
I purchased an item on eBay, and the order status shows as “Delivered.” However, when I check the USPS tracking number, it shows that the package hasn’t even been received by USPS, with no movement at all. The tracking code exists, but no updates have been posted since the seller created the shipping label.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there something I can do while waiting for the estimated delivery date to pass, or should I be worried about a potential issue with the seller? Any advice on how to handle this would be greatly appreciated!
It is a product at a much cheaper price than normally would so I took the offer, don't want to be scammed.
Thanks in advance!

[Update: The package tracking on USPS seems to have been updated to "On the Way" but the Ebay Order Status still shows as "Delivered" https://prnt.sc/Njgj1vludIni]

@2014arhenri did u contact USPS or your post office for advice?

I have not, I can try that, I didn't think USPS could help with this issue that seems most related to ebay, but I will ask, thanks!

I would contact them to see if they can put a trace on the package. You may have to fill out a missing mail report. This happened to me years ago and after they traced it, the tracking updated and showed delivered within a day. YMMV

@2014arhenri
One thing for certain, if you do not receive the item and there is a status of "delivered" associated with your product, you are going to lose any "item not received" claim you make regardless if you file with eBay, PayPal if you paid that way, or your c.card company.
There will be something else you need to do instead. Do come back if "non receipt of parcel with a delivery scan" scenario should arise.

I'm going to guess that the "Delivered" scan is shown as occurring in the seller's hometown. That happens more often than you might think: a carrier mailbox or porch pickup where the carrier forgets to change his hand scanner from its usual Delivered setting to Acceptance instead. Thus your package gets accidentally scanned as Delivered during the pickup, but this doesn't affect your package travels in any way.
You will see further tracking updates on the USPS.com website. eBay has always had problems interpreting the incoming data from USPS, so tracking as seen on eBay may remain stuck on Delivered, but I wouldn't worry about it.
If you did file an Item Not Received dispute later on (you should wait until the last Estimated Date of Delivery has passed), you would win anyway, as tracking would show that the package was not delivered in the City and ZIP Code of the address you provided with your payment. In short: no worries.

I've written to UPS to get any type of answer, I've also tried to contact Ebay through technical issues but nothing still.
Look that to me, the UPS tracking seems normal, a bit delayed but normal, there's no 'delivered' scan prior to 'on the way' or anything. It's just that Ebay order status is 'delivered' which is crazy and so smart and scammy all.

Your first post mentions USPS but it looks like it was sent UPS...correct?
I entered the tracking number that shows on one of your screen shots and it shows on the UPS site that it was delivered on Sept 3 at Met Customer (I have no idea what that is) in Doral. If you click on the details it shows that the package was .5 lbs. Does the weight sound right? If not, this could be a tracking scam and you may have to do a bit of leg work before you talk to eBay. Someone here can give you more info if you think that your package was not 1/2 lb.

None of this is seller problem.
Sorry to say.
Since you are in Argentina and used a FF you would need to contact the FF you hired.
Your package was successfully delivered to them.
Your item was shipped 8/30 and arrived 9/3 to your FF. There were no delays in the tracking.

It looks like the mods may have pulled the post with the shipping screenshots which would have contained some key information. One reply indicated that the shipping address may have been that of a freight forwarder. I can't see the tracking information but maybe this was the UPS, if it went that way, entry indicating that the courier met the customer in Dorval wherever that is but I have never seen a UPS tracking entry like that before.
Knowing what the OP's shipping address is/was and what the item number is/was would maybe help to figure out the issue.

Asking a postal worker for advice is like asking a lamp post for a favor.

Mods haven't removed the screenshot links.
The order has UPS tracking on it. Not USPS.
The OPs profile shows they are in Argentina.
UPS tracking shows delivery to Doral, FL.
Nothing in their story makes sense, but the everything in the screenshot appears to be consistent.

I don't know if any information was deleted but the tracking number from the bottom of the first screenshot and tracking shows on the UPS site. I don't know if I am allowed to give the number since it wasn't my tracking number.
I didn't realize that you are registered outside of the US. Is the address in Doral, Florida a freight forwarder that is supposed to send the package to your country?
The tracking shows that it was delivered to "met customer" (according to Google) which means it was directly handed to someone at that address so it does sound as if the package was delivered there.

I Just have to say I found it amusing your reply used the same misspelling which I'd assume was a typo.
But you didn't notice it ?

Thanks for the correction. I had to read my posts a couple of times to figure out what you were referring to. It wasn't a typo. It was a case of seeing what I thought I had seen. There is a Dorval, Quebec so when I saw Doral on the tracking, my brain must have thought of Dorval.
