You really should widen your consumption of news / information.
The Social Security computer system is built on the old Cobol code. That is really old and simply doesn't function like newer ways of coding computers. The numbers you see that clearly are not representative of a live human age are because of the OLD Coding, NOT because of some conspiracy to steal for SS.
Some of the people represented in those numbers are no longer receiving SS and haven't since they died, but their info is still in the system.
Take the time to actually learn what is happening before passing around incorrect information. It is what is causing all the divide in this nation. It is so unnecessary and certainly harmful to the nation and ALL the people in it.
Here are a few different news sources that are NOT self serving information shared on Social Media.
https://www.wired.com/story/elon-musk-doge-social-security-150-year-old-benefits/
https://www.cnn.com/2025/02/18/politics/trump-musk-social-security-payments-what-matters/index.html
This is just a little tidbit of information you might find interesting.

No thanks, I stay away from legacy media. They're DOGE, Trump and America hating fake news. I post direct from Elon and Big Bal*$.
CNN, Yahoo, lol. Come on. Next you'll be posting from Politico, a USAID funded DNC shill.

I'm sorry you feel so limited. I get it not trusting what some have been calling legacy media, I respect that. I personally try to get my info from a mix of places to obtain news so it is more rounded. But when you limit yourself to one source, you lose out from getting a broader form of real information. If all you trust is X, that is your right but you will find over time that what I said was and is correct on this subject of SS. Still I respect your position on getting your news.

What you stated above is a common statement made by legacy media. The YT video link personifies your thinking and exactly what you wrote. "You will know them by their fruit"
YT Short Misinformation a danger to democracy

IDK, It is what I've said for a long time. Maybe they copied me.

It's not where you get your news, it's how you process and manage it. What you do is google information and then post it, but, you never take a moment to critically analyze it. For example, last week or so, you posted on how children worldwide were going to starve because of USAID being shutdown. You posted that because you watched CNN or MSNBC which had been airing this exact information non-stop. You clearly believed USAID was US-AID, lol. When it's in fact an agency that dealt in subversion, fraud, DEI agenda, etc.
What Elon posted are facts. There's clearly fraud and abuse going on with SS. Who am I to believe, DOGE and Elon Musk or some biased, Musk hating Khoros poster that's posting Wired and CNN articles as sources.

You know NOTHING about me or how I process anything. Now I was respectful to you and said I respect your outlook on how and where to get your news. Why can't you respect that my point of view is different.
We don't have to agree, but we should respect each others rights to believe differently. I do, how about you?

You have me confused with someone else as I never posted anything like what you said I did. I've NEVER said what news channels I watch in ANY post on ANY thread.
More is being made out of what, in more current years, is called DEI, we use to call it equal opportunity employment / employer.

I'm respectful as well. Just stating the facts.

Absolutely NOT in what you said I've said. As I told you in my previous post. I never said any of that in your post 66. Those are NOT facts. I never said any of that anywhere in the Community.

How is that?
The devil you know is often better than the one you don't know.

Your crystal ball full of "Ifs" and a myriad of other non specific garble other said this
"I suspect that if this happens, USPS will be profitable in 2 years, and service may or may not be inferior depending on how few existing USPS workers are left in the company."
History says this
Me say this old proverb is applicable to this post >>>>> "If wishes were horses beggars would ride.

Is not keeping the doors open an option?
Comments like the one to which you replied indicate to me that many Americans do not have the faintest idea what national security functions USPS serves.
And it is because USPS serves those functions that it cannot and almost certainly will never be privatized.
As long as there is a need to move physical items across the USA at affordable prices, USPS will be with us, in one form or another.

@greatmidwestcoin wrote:USPS beats both UPS and FedEx on most rates, hands down. And they still give up free boxes. I just got 300 delivered today to me free.
USPS also delivers to locations that UPS and FedEx won't touch.
That's why USPS frequently delivers on behalf of UPS (not sure about FedEx.)
I was chatting with the postal clerks at my local post office the other day... they were lamenting the bad press that USPS gets.
I said, don't worry... the vast majority of Americans would much rather pay USPS $6 to have something delivered 3,000 miles away than to make the drive themselves. They both looked at me an laughed and in unison said, "I never thought about it like that!"
