Combined Shipping Ebay-Shopping cart!

Is there anyway eBay can tweak their software to combine shipping of say 2, 3, 4 etc. separate "buy it now" transactions from the same buyer with 24-48 hours?    My opinion is too many buyers do not use  the eBay Shopping Cart, don't know about it or don't comprehend it.   The time to sort out a bunch of separate orders and customer complain on this issue from a buyer  tends to aggravate me

Most these buyer types do not seem to realize that shipping discounts are available on all our listings if they use the cart.   I understand a lot of sellers ignore the issue (We ship every day during the week and  trying make the customers happy on this issue is time consuming.  I've been here 22 years and this eBay shopping cart issue has been a cluster bomb since they started it.  Will these issues ever be resolved?  They constantly find ways to get a bigger share out each sale a seller has.   

Perhaps eBay could do a better job of this issue with better promotion and instruction on how to utilize  the cart. Several other market places seem to automatically  combine orders from customers. ebay you could really help us on this mater.

I've said for years they just need to remove 'Buy It Now' entirely.   Just Add to Cart.  Or just 'Buy' and it still just adds it to the cart.

Buy it Now is a long dead leftover from listings primarily being Auctions, so 'omg I can 'buy it now' instead of bid' was a huge deal for a while. 

But times change.   Move on eBay.  Imagine how much more customers would spend if the cart and checkout system wasn't so confusing to buyers? 🙂
