I just accidently deleted a listing which was scheduled for later today. It was a RELIST, which means it was just plain GONE along with the original listing.
BUT I'd like to tell folks how I managed to relist it after all. It may be old news to some, but if I can help one person it's worth typing it up! 😉
The first thing I did was look in my browser history to see if any visit to the item page was in there. It wasn't BUT the RELIST/SCHEDULE visit was. Thing is, all I could see was the relist confirmation, which didn't link anywhere but to an Ebay error page. It did show a listing number, but it was false as the listing was now gone. All it did was confuse Ebay's site.
SOOO, I did a search of COMPLETED LISTINGS and sure enough, I found the original, unsold listing. I simply opened it up and clicked SELL SIMILAR ITEM. A new listing was created and all was well once again.
