Check your store level May 1st Glitch

eBay does not give GIFTS to sellers, only BUYERS!!!!!!

Wonder if the Anchor Stores got booted to the bottom and are now Starter Stores.  Once you're on top there's nowhere to go but down, right? 

On a personal note, I downgraded a store level and the store was upgraded. 

You had to see this coming.

I checked my emails in My Ebay and on April 18 there was a message from ebay to upgrade one month for flat rate.  I think they moved everyone from Basic to Premium or Premium to Anchor.  May not be a glitch afterall.   It won't really matter except if they try to force the higher rate a billing time.   I am month to month so will see how it plays out.

A poster above reported that when he listed, it came off of the Basic store counter. So I vote "glitch" rather than "upgrade" (free or not).

The new top is now "Enterprise" level.

Checked my subscription.....it says Basic store.....However premium listings.   I am sure it will get fixed to Basic listings.   Of course not that it matters.  Sales are so down this year and eBay doesn't care.

Yeah that new level is INSANE! Really?? who would possibly use that store? We all wanted one in the middle of Premium and Anchor. But our requests went ignored, I am sure for a reason.

This REALLY isn't doing a lot to instill any confidence that eBay's handling our payments is going to go any better than anything else they touch.

Seriously though, unless u guys are selling your allotted amount for store subscriptions each month, it’s just not worth it to have in the first place. I have no problem paying 10% when I make a sale, as opposed to the store subscription fee

Hmmmmmm, I wonder if that means that you automatically 'OPT-IN' to the 'added 500 auction listings' (for a price) if you start listing in that field?

brian@ebay  @Anonymous alan@ebay    Many people are reporting this, I'm showing in my Overview that I have an Anchor store, which I do not.  Cosmetic or not this needs immediate attention.  If I am charged for an anchor store I will be more than a bit incensed and will take appropriate action.

I took 25 minutes out of my day and called them. Was assured this was a cosmetic glitch, and that if I started listing today would not be locked into the ANCHOR store. What I personally need is a 500 listing store, 250 is not enough, and 1000 means I have to work way to hard to keep up. I'm retired I don't want to "work". I was so hoping they would have a new catagory or catagories between the ones regular people seem to use the most, nope, got a 100, and a gigantic catagory added.  This is not flexible enough for a lot of users.  I signed up for the premiere store April 22, will drop it May 21.
