Sorry for the repost, my question was buried in another thread.
A buyer paid the item, but immediately requested a return, citing he used a wrong card and will buy with another card. I haven't shipped the item yet. Which option should I choose for the return:
"Accept the Return", or "Give a full refund"?
I plan to re-list the item, but block the buyer. But would like to know how to properly proceed with the return request. I have never done it before. Thanks all again!

The buyer has nothing to return. You should cancel the order, citing 'Buyer requested'. Then you'll be able to get your FVFs back and relist the item. Good luck.

Can the buyer leave me negs if I cancel?

And I don't know how to cancel it now. The only option I see is respond to return request.

The buyer needs to close the case on their end and then you will be able to cancel. Why block them, they said they used wrong card. It happens.

In the return request just 'give the full refund'. They should have just asked for a cancellation but since they didn't, finish the return process by refunding them.

I would respond to the return by issuing a full refund. That will close the case. Then if you wish to block it is up to you. Based on your other thread, they did seem to cause issues.

Good catch!

This buyer has been a hassel all the way. Requesting delay of payment, multiple rounds of additional pictures, changed mind multiple times when he's going to pay, , requested immediate shipment on weekend if he pays, all *after* the sale. I have been accommodating, but have enough now.
I will issue full refund and block. Thank you all for the help.

I would accept the return and see what they send you.🤣

Sad thing is he can leave you negative feedback after everything is done and said
