Bulk Edit Descriptions - Search and Replace

I added a note to all of my listings in December about the SLOW USPS service and that items would likely not arrive in time for Christmas at this point, etc.

I want to remove this note from all of my listings, but to do it manually would take forever.  I am trying to work with the Search/Replace function in Bulk Edit, but it doesn't seem to change my listings when I submit/save.

Anyone have any clue what might be going wrong?

are you sure the "term" you want to delete is exactly the same as in the listings?.........

copy and pasted?

Thanks to a long ago post, I learned that search and replace only works using the html version of your replacement text.

Edit a listing, switch to the html tab, copy all the html around and within the replacement text. There will be leading tags and usually in line breaks, font tags for any bolding, etc.

Paste that into the find replace.

Even then you'll not get every instance because the text editor may have added tags to the notice in some cases for no reason at all.
