Why they make sellers link bank account in order to get paid from buyer's is a hassle! Now I have to search to find buyers address and then go to USPS web sight and print my shipping label after having to fill in address information. Plus no discounts! I use my PayPal money to pay for things on the internet. The money made selling on eBay would go into my account. Running out of money because bank gets it. Have to make transfers. Not even an email telling me my item sold. What happened to customer satisfaction and service? Can not even file a complaint now.

Then you are doing it completely wrong. You can print your labels directly from eBay without that "search to find a buyer's address". And you do get the discount. You can still use Paypal to pay for it if you want, or pay for it out of the managed payments received.
You are just making it way too difficult on yourself.
As far as Paypal coming back as a payment processor - never going to happen.
It is the responsibility of all public traded companies to act in the best interest of the SHAREHOLDERS. “Best interest” includes, among other things, maximizing profits so as to increase the value of the shares the shareholders hold.
That is why we no longer have Paypal as our processing company. A group of activist shareholders forced eBay to divest itself of Paypal because they saw profit in that move. That is why we now have Managed Payments which oh so many do not like and wish we could back to Paypal. Thank the Carl Icahns of the world for that.

The return of PayPal to eBay is not going to happen.
Try to keep selling. You will still be able to purchase postage from the buyer's payment before that money gets into your personal account. Ande you will get e-mails telling you your item sold. If you have/use a cell phone, make sure the eBay app is on it; log on with your username and password; when your items sell, you will hear a cha-ching sound like an old cash register.
Don't give up. You may come to appreciate Managed Payments as much as you did PayPal. I do.

@washhour That horse is long since out of the barn and the door is locked. Paypal does not want a permanent contract with eBay as payment processor, eBay has gone with Adyen (which Etsy, Posh, etc., have already been using for years), and is actually one of the last large marketplaces to do this.
You can still buy here using Paypal, but you're gonna have to just adapt if you want to keep selling here. It's no harder than it was to get on Paypal those years ago (which everyone complained about, too).
This has been transitioning since 2018.

I opted into Managed Payments in August, 2019. I've kept a zero PayPal balance since August, 2019.
If you link your bank account and put it in your PayPal wallet, then tick it as the 'Preferred' method of payment while shopping online, you won't have to make transfers.
I also happen to be one of those sellers who chooses to pay for my eBay shipping labels through PayPal. The funds are debited from my bank account (my PayPal wallet's 'Preferred') next-day. If your bank allows unlimited 'ins' and 'outs' (like mine does), it's easy-peasy.

Serioiusly - Paypal is gone, eBay signed a contract with Adyen and they aren't likley to renege on that to please a few sellers who don't like it.
It is over, these threads are repetitive and stagnant before they even start.

At first I thought this was a zombie thread from two years ago that somehow came stumbling back. Dang, talk about being behind the times.

"If wishes were horses beggars would ride"
"If wishes were horses, beggars would ride" is a proverb and nursery rhyme, first recorded about 1628 in a collection of Scottish proverbs, which suggests if wishing could make things happen, then even the most destitute people would have everything they wanted.

I heard somewhere that ebay is going to let buyers pay electronically instead of mail me a check.
Pay electronically? Who ever heard of such nonsense?

Thanks - the horses quote was passed on to me long ago from a mentor when I was fresh out of college and knew nothing about the "real business world", totally wet behind the ears. He had some grey in his hair - it always pays to listen to those who have been around the block more than once. BTW we were good friends too and later in live I became his "boss".

I vote for Managed Payments. It makes things so much easier for me. I do love the simplicity of it. I opted for weekly payouts - it is like
getting a bonus every week.

You do realize that this is eBay's sandbox, right?
If eBay wanted to allow a "choice", they would.
For eBay, the current Managed Payments arrangement is the most popular.
And because this is eBay's sandbox, eBay will win, and the decisions made by eBay are the decisions that must be accepted by everybody who buys and sells on eBay.
