I am not sure how long this has been available, however, this morning is the first time I have seen it on my account. This could be a real time saver if you post regularly on social media. I enable it and I will be putting up some new listings later today to see how it works.

Good luck and let us know how it works out for you! I always share things on sm, but usually cut and paste links.

So these would become those annoying 'ads' seen when scrolling Nextdoor Ap, FB, Twitter (x), Insta??

No, they would not.

It's been on the "Share" link at the top right hand side of the page of your listings. I use it all the time and I do get sales from using it.
Glad you found it and good luck to you!

Hmm...I am not sure that is the same thing. I am referencing the Auto-Posting feature in Seller Hub>Marketing>Social here https://www.ebay.com/sh/social/auto-post
If I understand correctly when the feature is enabled the first 10 new listings each day will automatically post to the social pages selected during set-up.

Well, I submitted 10 auction listings, and nothing was posted on my social pages. I used sell similar instead of creating brand new listings, so maybe that is why they did not post.
I will need to try again tomorrow or over the weekend I guess.

Give it a little time - depending on the SM site it may take a little while to show up (I used to use several SM sites but just Pinterest now since I got kicked off of Fakebook and refuse to post on the dead bird site, but do remember a periodic lag).
ETA: Your distinction of fresh listings v sell similar is a good observation - some chat about eBay detecting sell similar as not being a fresh listing but simply another way of relisting, and so they may not post to SM - eBay has been sensitive about external content since the Google debacle with thin content and dead re-directs some years back. Something to think about.

It looks like you are correct about lag time. The listings are starting to show up. 3 out of the 10 listings are now on my social pages and displayed as Published/Auto-posting completed on my Social history and status page.
I think I will like this feature...

Glad it looks like everything worked and it was just a little case of lag @mcdougle4248 - can't wait to hear your results after using it for a bit!
For anyone wondering what it looks like when you're setting it up, once you have your social accounts connected, it looks like you can just select which categories (eBay or Store) you want them to draw from and they'll take it from there.
Here's what they show for example posts for Facebook and Pinterest.

I have 16 auction listings set to auto-relist tomorrow morning (if not sold). It will be interesting to see if this new tool picks 10 of them up as new listings and posts them to my social pages. I think that they will post because they will have new item numbers and show as "newly listed"...will see what happens tomorrow.

@mcdougle4248 curious what you think of the quality of the content it automatically creates? The example posts look pretty simple but I would imagine a lot is going to depend on the information it has to draw on from the listing and that it might also improve over time.
I can definitely see the time saving factor would be valuable, but it will be interesting to see if the automation is able to optimize keywords and/or hashtags that will perform significantly better than what you might write yourself.

The auto-posting tool seems to only be utilizing the title, very simple hashtags, a link to the listing, and of course, the main listing photo. I did not capture the photos in the screenshots. First screenshot.
Previously, I have been taking advantage of the AI description when creating my posts. The AI descriptions pull from the title and item specifics and do a pretty good job IMO. Second screenshot.

FYI for anyone interested...the tool did post to social media the first 10 auto-relisted auction items today 😊

How do you know if it was an ebay sale or a fb sale? Any added fees?
