It appears that shortly it will be possible to leave 5 pictures when you leave feedback.
Buyers, of course, can already leave negative feedback for a seller. The pictures can simply reinforce that negativity,
BUT we all know that sellers can not leave negative feedback for a buyer so they try positive feedback with a negative comment. Usually does not work out well for the seller. Judging by the posts on these boards there are certainly buyers who various sellers believe deserve negative feedback. Scams, fraudulent returns, repeated bidders who never pay, etc. You know the ones.
The cynic in me says that there are those who will try to use the pictures to make a negative point. An upside down flag for example, a universal sign of distress. Picture of an empty box suggesting that is what the return turned into. A frowning emoji. Well you get the idea.
Going to be fun to watch. I wonder how many sellers will put their foot in it. 'Cause I've got to figure eBay will be monitoring it.

What's the bet that if we could upload pics with FB and I posted this one of the order I received today, the seller would find a way to get it taken down? Pretty sure this one wasn't on UPS but the way the seller shipped it. Inner display box taped to an outer box that had one side cut off. For $200 I expect better.

Another nightmare to deal with?! They should just do away with feedback and put in a return rate counter or canceled sale etc..less personal more factual.

Ebay will NEVER do away with buyer feedback.........too many buyers who have been here for years wear it as a badge of honor......some probably don't realize sellers can't leave negs anymore.......
I think this is a test to see if they can get more buyer "engagement".......and I think it will be an abject failure......new buyers could care less about getting or giving feedback.......as long as they are satisfied with the transaction.

For what reason could they get it removed?
We can all guess, but to my knowledge Ebay hasn't made the rules on this public yet because it isn't available on the US site.

This is the type of fraudulent and totally unacceptable stuff sellers could possibly get with the inclusion of photos in the FEEDBACK section glaring there for other buyer to see.

They removed our useful icons on our purchase history and all selling pages but they have the time, energy and money to do this.

Here's my first pic for the feedback photo gallery.

Seller sent rock instead of item.eBay to seller complaint: That is the buyers opinion. We cannot remove the feedback or the picture.
Seller Feedback for Buyer: Mom said to never say anything bad. Thanks for returning the $200 dollar Thingamabob I sent you. Enjoy the refund. Photo enclosed.
eBay to seller: Buyer reported you. You cannot leave buyer negative feedback. We are on to you. Your feedback and photo was removed. Another attempt at breaking eBay's rules and we may ban you for life.
Hmm... 🙄

Thanks. Many of my posts include my deadpan humor that is easy to miss. Sellers need humor (or remain sour on eBay selling). I bring up issues with eBay, but that does not mean I don't enjoy eBay selling (especially the buyers). Glad I could give you a Smile! 🙄

I could not agree with you more about what you said.

You do not want a scamming type buyer to be putting up photo’s in the feedback section where they can be viewed instantaneous and questionable at this point picture removal by ebay. Even one of these could hurt your sales for over a week if they are not removed immediately.

Looks like it's not just being tested in the UK. 👀

Its beyond baffling... to focus on such an insignificant part of the buying/selling process while the rest of the platform infrastructure crumbles around us?.......
Every change- every update historically rolls out with glitches and problems and breaks working systems for months on end causing drops in sales...... why are they even considering such a bad idea? With the decisions going on up there at ebay the last couple years- makes you wonder if they all worked at bud lite at some point lol.
EBAY- if you want seller engagement- fix the years long site issues and make is faster/easier to list and sell
EBAY- if you want more buyer engagement- fix the search engine and show people what they type in the box instead of irrelevant promoted listings.
KISS- keep it simple stupid- just get back to the basics and the site will flourish- people are getting sick of all the AI and over-thinking and advertising, and hiding of relevant listings because of some goofy algorithm that does not think you want to see something for no real reason...

Like the glitch I have right now that says I have an overdue order to ship... Then you click on it and the cue is empty. "Ghost" sale haunting my dashboard. It's an annoying glitch, hopefully this "ghost" doesn't mess up my metrics.
Makes you wonder though. What kind of "glitches" they have that we can't see... Especially ones that effect our accounts.

Good points. If MOST of our transactions did not go off without a hitch, it is likely there would be a whole lot fewer sellers. It is a small fraction of our transactions that result in big problems. It is important to remember that. As frustrating as that small fraction can be, it isn't the normal course of business here.

We have no idea how often such a thing would happen, nor do we know yet the rules that will guide what kind of pics can be posted without getting removed if reported to Ebay.
