It appears that shortly it will be possible to leave 5 pictures when you leave feedback.

Buyers, of course, can already leave negative feedback for a seller. The pictures can simply reinforce that negativity,

BUT we all know that sellers can not leave negative feedback for a buyer so they try positive feedback with a negative comment. Usually does not work out well for the seller. Judging by the posts on these boards there are certainly buyers who various sellers believe deserve negative feedback. Scams, fraudulent returns, repeated bidders who never pay, etc. You know the ones.

The cynic in me says that there are those who will try to use the pictures to make a negative point. An upside down flag for example, a universal sign of distress. Picture of an empty box suggesting that is what the return turned into. A frowning emoji. Well you get the idea.

Going to be fun to watch. I wonder how many sellers will put their foot in it. 'Cause I've got to figure eBay will be monitoring it.

It is in Beta in the UK and some other sites.  Not yet here on the US site.  

Pics can further back up why the buyer is leaving negative FB or it could support why they are leaving positive FB.  Only time will tell how this will play out.

It could also be that buyers post pics where the item is fine but they filed for an INAD saying it was damaged.  So it could happen that in some cases it will or might help a seller.

I wonder how feedback violations policy will adjust itself to consider photo violation as well as comment.

Wow, who sold this idea? What a waste of time and money to implement. How many will actually spend/waste their time adding Photos? There are many issues that need to be addressed but they are focusing on cute or not so cute photos on feedback. Mindboggling!

     My buyer feedback has fallen off drastically over the past few years and is now only about 10-15%. Of all the problems and issues eBay appears to have with their IT system you would think they would have more pressing issues to deal with.

Can't say that adding up to 5 photos to feedback would have been at the top of my "Improve eBay List".  This seems to be UK, not US.  I'd love to know if ebay UK announced this somewhere, with an explanation as to why this is "good news" for sellers?

It's going to be a nightmare.  Not to mention how much space it's going to take up on their servers.  Another example of something we don't need rather than something that could actually help.

Buyer Feedback for Seller: I bought a $200 Thingamabob, but seller sent me this rock instead.

Seller sent rock instead of item.eBay to seller complaint: That is the buyers opinion. We cannot remove the feedback or the picture.

Seller Feedback for Buyer: Mom said to never say anything bad. Thanks for returning the $200 dollar Thingamabob I sent you. Enjoy the refund. Photo enclosed.

eBay to seller: Buyer reported you. You cannot leave buyer negative feedback.  We are on to you. Your feedback and photo was removed. Another attempt at breaking eBay's rules and we may ban you for life.

The pictures the buyers take are NOT PRO LOOKING PICTURES EITHER. IT WILL MAKE THE ITEM LOOK WORSE THAN IT LOOKS AT THE TIME OF SALE. Very bad.

I work hard on here with these photos as pro as I can get them and then people leaving bad pictures in the feedback is just bad bad bad.
