Any way to combine shipping for Ebay Inetrnational orders?

My buyer purchased 4 items from me. Shipping will go through International Ebay shipping. My shipping is free but she is being charged VAT and shipping on each one separately. Small jewelry items. I will ship together. Will International refund her the extra?  She is asking for refund.

You can make a listing for all items together. However, you can't escape VAT no matter what you do. It has to clear custom fully detailed. VAT in some nations is not just on goods, but also on services - shipping. That always messes up things as well.

International Shipping 

It looks like no in certain situations for combined no matter what:

Combined shipping

If a buyer purchases multiple items from you, the order will automatically be combined if it's eligible for combined shipping. There are several reasons why shipping can't be combined when sending items through eBay International Shipping. For example, combined shipping won’t be applied if:

• The order costs more than $1000 USD
• The listing is in auction-style format
• The items exceed the program’s package limits

If the buyer is paying import charges at checkout for some items and paying import charges on delivery for other items in the same order, the shipping won’t be combined.

I don't see any reason that Ebay isn't allowing me to combine the shipping. 4 small pieces of jewelry. Small package, not over the $ limit, not auction, and all items should be charged the same import charges. If I put all 4 into the same package, show same tracking # on all 4, will International only charge the fees for 1?  She's in Germany.

I don't advise shipping together if they did not combine.  If your buyer is willing, just cancel all of them and put them into one listing for them to repurchase, then they will only pay the shipping once.  eBay is not likely to refund the shipping.  You also may not be able to upload the same tracking number to the different orders, the second line of the address has the EVTN number and it might not allow you to if they are different on each order.

Each of the EIS purchases have a separate reference number.  If you shipped them all in one package, only ONE of those reference numbers gets marked as received.

It is frustrating that multiple EIS purchases cannot be combined post-sale. 

As others have said, you can cancel all of the purchases and make a new listing of those items all together for the buyer to purchase in one single order.   VAT will still be charged, no way around that.

Also if you send the 4 items together to ebay's EIS hub, they may send back because ebay will only see one item in the order but has 3 more items. You can't combine shipping if paid for separate on EIS, just like other said, let the buyer know your canceling and then make one listing for all 4 pieces.

     In certain cases it is possible to combine shipping and it is done automatically. The exceptions are those mentioned by kalyoth.

Buying from sellers using eBay International Shipping

If your seller is shipping your item through eBay International Shipping, you'll pay for postage at checkout. You can choose to pay for customs charges, import fees and taxes either at checkout or when your item arrives. You'll see the following options at checkout:

• Pay import charges now – select this option to pay all taxes and duties at checkout
• Defer import charges until delivery – select this option to pay all taxes and duties when your item arrives

If you complete checkout and pay for more than one item from the same seller, the shipping will automatically be combined if the items are eligible. If you're paying import charges at checkout for some items in your order and paying import charges on delivery for other items, your shipping won't be combined. Combined shipping is also not available for auction-style listings.

Once you've completed checkout, the seller will send your package to the shipping hub, and from there it's shipped to you. Tracking is automatically added so you can track your order from the hub to your door.
