Received notice on two of my accounts that I won't convert to Flea Pay's MP Scam that all listings would be shut down on 6/15/21. Well that date has come and gone and .... nothing. I have no doubt that eventually they'll do it, probably on 12/31, but it's clear they're not interested in losing these couple thousand listings and the revenue they'll pull from the sales. They keep calling and trying to get me to sign up; pathetic. Anyone else having a similar experience? They surely figured they'd lose some percentage of sellers when they rammed this **bleep** down our throats, just admit it Flea Pay and quit calling, grow a set, and shut down my accounts.

That's good. Mine was sitting in my account, but I sure couldn't use it as I pleased. Weird---my deadline hadn't even passed yet, but I had attempted to sign up with MP when the freeze started.

I converted to MP and have been OK with things so far although there has been the occasional delay in getting the payout and the fees are a bit higher. I don't list as much as I used to on eBay and have diversified to several other platforms.

Yep I still get my money instantly... how's that MP thing working out for ya? It'll be the customer without product, not me without money, and if they want to know why I'll tell them to ask flea pay. Feedback.... couldn't care less at this point. 286 listings on this account, but I work under 5 accounts (tax purposes). Yes I do okay on flea pay ($54k on the 90-day running between the 5), but it's a side gig and not worth putting up with their **bleep** system. As a matter of fact $346 just popped into PP, so absolutely still working past their shut down threat. Apparently folks are still seeing my listings and I'm still getting paid. I guess they've realized that a 6/15 kill date would have literally just cost them what about 60 bucks. Come on ebay, quit with the pathetic threats and calls and just do what you need to do ๐
They will when they get to you.
Don't be surprised when you log in one day and see your accounts have been switched over.

Yes, your 500+ active listings make a clear statement that you are 'on your way out.'

I thought back in October that I did not want to wait until the last minute like this, because I am listing, selling and making money. So signing up when I did just kept that flow going with no pause in the action. If you are here fighting it, you are not a serious seller so when you are done just go, no need for an announcement there is no cake and ice cream.

You can go on any computer and eBay has no way of knowing if those are your listings.

Sorry but a few days on awaiting for your money is a loss. Ask anyone who knows finance.

Unable to add new & when they cancel the current ones, I will be done. They keep relisting the current ones; even after telling me I'm done on June 15. lol

There can only be serious sellers if there are serious buyers. I wanted to be a full-time seller for 2 decades. The only time that happened is during the hot spot of 14 months due to COVID.

So where did you hear a 15% increase? Please provide some proof of this increase.
โ06-19-2021 04:56 PM
I would say you are selling the wrong things. I have changed what I sell countless times. I don't do this full time but I certainly could. Heath coverage, benefits etc keep me from doing that. But it's the best side gig that I have come up with that works. The OP isn't a seller who wants to make it, only makes excuses why they can't.

@sakic92710 wrote:Yes - they paid with PayPal. ๐
All buyers can still buy items with their PayPal accounts. If sellers do not meet their deadline to enroll in Managed Payments, they can no longer get paid through PayPal.
Buyers making purchases with PayPal and sellers being paid by PayPal have nothing whatsoever to do with each other.

I didn't meet my deadline & was paid with PayPal on Wed. & Thurs. Just like before. Funds are available to me.

Obviously, I'm not. I had plenty of sales for the 14-month period when COVID was disrupting everything.

Cool!! Sounds like you have serious buyers then!
