An Abrupt and Complete Stop in Sales: Why? What's Going On?

The light bill needs to be paid!
The mortgage needs to be paid!
The cupboards are getting bear!
..........................................................I do not have time for these abrupt and complete stop in sales. Sheesh!
PS: I am not referring to this acct.

Needless to say I had far more luck using Google search - took me less than five minutes to find the critter I had been searching eBay for over 20 minutes.
If you put it in quotes you get far less. Not sure how accurate it is, but this is what I got.

Really !?!? How is he to know which listings eBay is hiding if the listings are hidden ?The better question is how does he know they are hidden. Has he looked and not found it ? Every person so far who has said an item was hidden I searched and found it. Not a single person to date has proved otherwise.
Can you please provide a summary report with screenshots?

You got my vote. Hopefully, we will see more Made in America. There are still some brands I love (for example, Life is Good) that I made outside of China (LiG made in Peru - I don`t mind, excellent quality and you can even resell after 100 washes - still looks like new).
With UPU (Universal Postal Union) withdraw (in case those who are not aware - by January 1, 2020, President Trump ordered a withdraw from an agreement, which was designed for developing countries to ship to the US for pennies, and China has been benefiting from that, while USPS has been losing the money because the rates are very low), the inflow of Chinese junk onto eBay should decrease, which will also contribute to eBay`s loss of revenue/profit.

TLDR
The drop is not because of GTC, it's because eBay drastically reduced their marketing efforts around the same time GTC went into effect. Pile on the problems with eBay's search, lower tax refunds, summer slowdown, etc, etc, etc...
But specifically, the big drop around the time GTC went into effect is when eBay decreased marketing. I haven't seen any tv commercials or internet ads since very early this year.

This is what I have found to be true too. I find item much faster and more directly with a google search than I do in the eBay platform.

Today was a HUGE blank. Ebay was a ghost town. I'm really done with the IT games.

Agreed! Most states are raising the minimum wage, including mine, and I have no doubt in my mind as wages rise more jobs will vanish. Just as you stated, many workers will be stuck doing twice the work.
Raising wages can be a good thing to keep workers pay inline with inflation. But raising wages to twice what they previously were in short periods of time (just a few years), is likely to backfire.
But what's really ruining our economy is Trump's worthless tax cut that did nothing but create more junk jobs that no one could possibly live.
Rather than giving tax cuts to billionaires, who by the way will never spend that money nor invest it in our society, we could have taken that $1.4 trillion dollars and expanded government loans to small businesses who would've invested that money to expand their businesses, and we would've created a lot of good paying jobs as a result.
The Republicans gave the American people an additional $1.4 trillion dollars of debt that drives down the value of every dollar in our pockets. Its just making inflation worse, not creating any real jobs, and American workers are getting the short end of the stick.

I think I got used to it. After July 19, 9 days with $0, then now 5 days with $0...eBay is still displaying that I had sold for almost $4K within 3 months, which is a very old data and getting on my nerves now, as the real number is much low with almost a month of those $0 days.

Yes, and you can`t send offers to them. if the system doesn`t allow to send offers, it means those are bots - see it all the time. So bots are watching our items to inspire us. Sad.

The unfortunate thing is that sellers desparate for sales have bought into paying an extra FVF for promoted listings which shows eBay they are on the right track and encourages them to look for more revenue grabs. uncseniorsportsfan
The trouble with their new strategy is its only a short time solution . Sooner or later sellers will realize they're being robbed . Tulips

One or two 12 dollar sales a week isn't going to pay the 104 dollars in sellers fees that I owe . So either they're crazy or I am . Tulips
