Am I Nuts?

I have some new listings, nothing has sold and I received an invoice from ebay for $400!

I haven't sold anything on ebay for a few years. Did something change?

Further down it itemizes and breaks down those fees. That's what you need to look at.

Am I Nuts?

I would recall a $395 invoice.

I looked at some past invoices.  They ranged from $4, $11, $27, highest being $58.

And I sold some items in the 2k range.

Who would pay $400 a month for items NOT selling?

I will probably have to close my account now because I obviously misunderstood what I was doing.

All of those fees have always been charged monthly whether the item sells or not. eBay showed you a running tally as you continued to list items. You didn’t notice?

I figured I was paying about $90 total for my listings. Are they charging me for relisting?  The same fees every time I relist?

Yes. Every relist is considered a new listing.

Any suggestions?  Should I cancel all my auctions now and cut my losses?

I thought I read I could relist free 8 times? Of course, now I can't find it.

Did I dream this?

List without any advanced listing upgrades. Don't use any upgrades... create bare-bones listings and if it makes financial sense you can open a starter or basic store to save on insertion fees.

I hope this works out for you. $395 in fees definitely hurts the wallet. Good luck.
