Sorry, I don't understand what you are asking?  Are you saying that there are auctions in a store?

Of course there are auction freebies for stores. (but only in select categories as they put it)

It CAN be used. After you use your 50 allotment, then list all you want up to the amount of the promo.

As long as you don't mind not having any free listings left for the rest of the month you mean.

Basically saying the same thing

They are not the same thing, they are contradicting each other.

#2 says only good for initial GTC listing, no renewals.

#5 says good for GTC renewals.

No, they are both saying the same thing. The free listing promo will include ANY GTC which you start during the promo (first insertion ONLY) and/or ANY GTC which RENEWS during the promo window (also ONLY good for that ONE insertion)

Your wording is much clearer than eBay's. 🙂

Re: 7 days, no insertion fees: 100 extra fixed priced listings! 5-2-2017

Just received this message from eBay. Looks like it is a glitch and the customer service reps that were telling everyone that "extra" meant after you use you monthly 50, were wrong. Typical!

Hi violetspider,

We are reaching out to alert you of a technical issue related to the promotion, "7 days, no insertion fees: 100 extra fixed priced listings!" for which you recently RSVP'd (Reference Code 103817).

Currently, the 100 free fixed price listings offered during this promotion are applied only after your standard 50 free listings have already been used. This was not the intent of the promotion.

To ensure that your free monthly listings allotment will not be impacted as you list during this promotion, we will be crediting your May invoice for up to 50 insertion fee charges.

We apologize for any inconvenience this error has caused. Thank you for selling with eBay.

Sincerely,
eBay Seller Team

Additional Credit Information
You will receive a Credit on your May Invoice for up to 50 fixed price or auction format listing fee charges incurred between May 1, 2017 at 00:00:01 PT (12:00AM plus one second) and May 31 at 23:59:59 PT (11:59PM plus 59 seconds). The Credit will not apply to final value fees or optional advanced listing upgrade and supplemental service fees. Fees for optional listing upgrades (such as reserve price, Gallery Plus, listing in 2 categories, etc.) will not be credited.

The Credit will not apply to insertion fees in the following categories: eBay Motors Passenger Vehicles, Motorcycles, Boats, Power Sports, Other Vehicles, Motors Local Market, Real Estate, Classified Ad listings, Heavy Equipment, Concession Trailers & Carts, Imaging & Aesthetics Equipment, and Commercial Printing Presses.

I tried to explain that to CS.  I still don't understand what they are saying.  Did they fix it, or are we supposed to list 50 items after they are all gone and HOPE we get a credit?  I try listing one tonight and see what happens.

I think that they might be leaving the programming error, since so many have already starting listing. Fixing it might be much harder then just giving us the credit after the fact. By my math we will now get as many as 200 free listings for the month, if we utilize everything. I won't, but I'm a small time seller!

Re: 7 days, no insertion fees: 100 extra fixed priced listings! 5-2-2017

Now the question is - a. do we trust eBay to issue the credit as promised and b. does this mean we have to PAY for the listing insertions and then wait for the credit? Because the credit may not necessarily come off the same invoice we're charged on, depending on what billing cycle you're on.
