ebay deletes my emails without permission

Does anyone else notice how ebay deletes your emails for you, even if U don't want them deleted? Especially the ones from ebay concerning promotions?  I've been trying to debate my  inclusion/exclusion from several "ebay bucks" promotions.  I usually have no ground to stand on however because whenever I try to go back to the email inviting me to the promotion (which has all the details I need for the debate) they are gone.  They are gone faster than other messages which they also erase without my permission.

I tried to tell a customer service agent about it (just as a side issue) when I was arguing my case for one of said, promotions, and they completely denied the practice or even having the ability to do such a thing. 

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed.

Nope, I have messages still in my eBay messages from 6 months ago..........

It's the offers that disappear (mostly).  It's hard to know what all is gone once it's gone.  Also contacts that I had saved with buyers I wanted to use again were gone, sometimes even when I save them in one of the "files".

Anyway ......
