Ebay has given us a third "Your account has been restricted: Counterfeit item policy" strike that has now suspended our account for 3-days. Here is the kicker... All three takedowns were internal from Ebay and not a VeRO Rights owner. Please keep in mind we have been selling on eBay with three store accounts and nearly 100k completed transactions for 21yr, 19yr, and our newest division/store for 5 months and have never sold a fake/counterfeit item as all our items are authentic and sourced legitimately w/receipts.
1ST VIOLATION: After speaking with Trust & Safety we were told the 1st takedown was for only having one photo in the listing... What??? So they gave us the greenlight to relist (With additional photos) and they would remove the bogus "Counterfeit" strike on our account.
2ND VIOLATION: Our BIN price was too cheap. Their review showed the perfume we were selling sold at Nordstrom for a lot more than what we were offering it therefore in eBay's eyes it must be counterfeit. Again, we had to walk eBay's CS Rep. through the process of reviewing completed eBay transactions for this item showing our BIN price matched what the current Sold prices were on eBay. Again, the CS apologized and said the strike would be removed and we could relist.
3RD VIOLATION: Tarte Eyeshadow palette listed for $21.95. Again, eBay hits us with a Counterfeit item Policy violation. This time eBay shuts our store down for 3-days (Because we have been previously warned of selling counterfeit items). We call Customer Service, get transferred to Trust & Safety and no one there can tell me why this item was removed. Again, they will send the information to the appeals team. We reminded them that we were told the prior two BOGUS violations were also to have been removed and we should not be penalized for any of their errors. We were now told it is solely up to the review department and it could take.... wait for it.... 72hrs for them to correct their system error and get us active. WHAT???? 3-Bogus Counterfeit violations that now blocks my listings and my ability to create new listings, has cost me lost revenue, cost me in unproductive payroll, not to mention our seller reputation for existing and future buyers who can not locate our goods.
BTW... the next "Bogus" counterfeit violation will be a 7-day suspension.
EBAY IF YOU ARE LISTENING YOUR REVIEW SYSTEM IS HORRIBLY FLAWED!!!

Sorry about your misfortune.
Sounds likely that Ebay's AI is flagging your auctions..and when you try to deal with humans(lol) it's the pretty standard response many of us get. It's bad...it's misinformed, and the right hand has zero clue what the left hand is doing.
Many of us can sympathize.
And while I've never tried it, many sellers on here say the Ebay Facebook page is the best way to get help...
Good luck.

@mybeautysource You mention you have 3 seller accounts. Were these 3 violations spread across the accounts, or was it just sent to one account? Yes I find it funny that it took 72 hours to try and reverse a 3 day suspension. During the time of the suspension, were any of your other accounts affected as well?
Apparently you're doing something that is setting off the bots, I'm sure it's not a human who is doing this. If you are somehow able to show your listing content maybe someone here can help figure out what is it that's making you a target. Something like using stock images perhaps.

The targeted account is our newest account and just our newest account. The reason(s) for the suspension are solely based on suspicion of a potential "Counterfeit" fraud and not on actual fraud being conducted. All the suspected listing are with our photos, prices based on completed sold transactions, etc.. Anytime we challenge the dispute Ebay apologizes for the error and says they will correct and file a dispute to some dept. that we can never speak to nor do we get a confirmation the violation was ever removed from our records.

I had a similar problem without vero indication. the main problem here is how a seller would know if the product going to be listed will be found unauthorized/counterfeit by ebay or not before listing? there is no way to predict/know this?
I am trying to figure out how to avoid this, asked ebay CS and they couldn't even respond what I'm trying to understand. because of this I don't know how to build up a safe account here with their non helping approaches.

eBay's VERO program isn't any better, they let leagues flag items as counterfeit just to squash their competition. The NFL and NBA will flag modern day stuff so more people have to buy from shop.nfl.com and shop.nba.com, facts
