Return back to old style listing? Help!!

Yes, that link works for me.  That's what I'm using now though I don't know how long it will be until they get everyone forced over to the new one because I'm sure they'll get rid of it once they do.

Return back to old style listing? Help!!

can anyone tell me if we'd still have access to the data in the Sellers Hub if we revert back to the old listing tool? I didn't have access to the Hub before this morning and, while I'm THRILLED with the info I'm finding, I DETEST the new listing tool. it took me about 30 minutes just to get thru the new design (for one item) and then it won't load. oy. anyone have any insight on this? thanks!

I did submit feedback on the new listing format, but eBay has totally ignored it!!  With regards to "use it and hopefully you'll grow to like it", well you could change the order of the pedals in your car and I'm sure you'd grow to like it in time, but why?  As a seller, the listing page is just a tool for me, I don't need it to be updated to look cool, or whatever other reason you've changed it, I just need it to be consistent so I can do my job.

keep submitting feedback- its all we got. unfortunately i'm afraid that ebay will just figure that the listing tool is "good enough" and move on to more changes instead of fixing what has already been done to us as sellers

You would think that the reported steady and obvious decline in GMV on the platform since the tool was rolled out would be a pretty good statistical indicator that the new tool is more of a detriment than a benefit.......  coming up on a years worth of data that shows people are listing LESS on ebay now..........why cant they connect the dots??

I agree 100%.  I'm done.  I will start liquidating and tell Feebay where they can stick it.  This was basically a retirement hobby, generating a little income.   But it is such a pain in the ass now, I give up!

Where is the classic view?  This new one as of today is slow, way too much scrolling, and you have to do a drop-down for everything.   Even the shipping options are totally messed up.  Seems like someone designed this without ever having an eBay account they sell on.

How do you get to the faster and easier-to-read classic menu?

@therockbadger

The path to go back can be found in the triple dots at the top right of the new Unified Listing tool. If the go-back option is not available to you, then you have been permanently moved to the new tool.

Since that is the direction eBay is taking us, I would recommend working with it much as you can. If you get stuck where it absolutely will not perform as needed, be sure to report the issue using the feedback link in the triple dots.  Then, use this one-at-time link to create a single listing in the old Business tool. After creating that listing, you'll be back in the new tool.

Clicking this link takes you to the old format.

Click the listing 'sell similiar' link and at the bottom

save for later. Then click this link, and then resume listing.

The listing now resumes in the old format.

It may now be permanent for you.  Many are no longer able to switch back. Please read the 2 posts prior to your post.

Thank you for your comments. My concern is why do eBay Sellers not complain and call eBay via land-line telephone or cell and complain about their horrible listing tool that they have created. If the eBay community unites and complains that they will leave eBay and go to another venue if the old listing tools is not brought back, then maybe they will listen. If hundreds of sellers complain via telephone to the eBay Management, I think that they may change their position. When you call eBay ask the representative that you want to speak to management. Do not settle for the clap-trap jargon from the lower echelon representatives. Amazon and other platforms would love to have eBay sellers that can no longer tolerate the crap that eBay forces on their sellers. UNITE and COMPLAIN LOUDLY otherwise suffer the consequences. The Omni Media of this country thinks that they can override and manipulate the wishes of the people that use their platforms. What has happened to the old slogan "that the customer is always right"? If you believe that the new listing tool is bad then voice your opinion by contacting eBay via their HELP & CONTACT button on the top of the Seller Hub page.

Because the CSRs in India, or whereever don't indertstand or could care less.  I am done.  Once my inventory is gone, so am I.  I have already reduced my listing alot and reduced my store subscription.    Feebay always does their best thing to drive sellers away which is really interest considering it is the sellers who pay Feebay's bills.

It is absolutely useless on desktop. Extremely, WAKE UP Ebay - LISTEN TO SELLERS Complaints - IT IS NOT DESKTOP FRIENDLY. What does it take to listen???
