Negative feedback

I’ve received negative feedback for an item where the box was damaged in transit. I’ve refunded the item but he’s still left me negative feedback. How do I get this changed?

$43.00 US for shipping a puzzle?

I am sure there is more to the story that was not told.

Negative feedback

You can send buyer a revision request but they don't have to change the feedback

Otherwise it is there to stay

Refunding doesn't make the problem go away or make the buyer happy.

A refund in and of itself nullifies any financial loss, but it doesn't wash the bad transaction taste from the buyer's mouth.  They paid for,  and awaited delivery of something that arrived damaged.  The feedback left doesn't violate policy, and they didn't trash you as a seller.  As noted, you can send a revision request to the buyer, but I wouldn't push the issue.

The feedback looks like it is more about how the item was packed or the packaging used then something that the post office did.

I would think that a refund would usually help to avoid negative feedback, but buyer tolerance for such issues varies widely.

when sellers use substandard packaging, it leads to a bad experience. Even if there is no damage done to the item inside, that small sinking feeling you get when you receive something packaged in something that was never meant for shipping is a bit of a downer.

Poster is in the UK and probably should ask on the UK as the rules may be different there........

@jamesbeats

I wouldn't advise sending a feedback revision request without first communicating with the buyer to ask whether they'd be amenable to it.

You only have a limited number of revision requests that you can make so to waste one without being sure the buyer will go along with it isn't advised.
