Can a buyer who gave a negative, keep the fb a negative and change the comments?

With feedback revision, a buyer can only change to a "positive" from a negative or neutral. Revision does not allow keeping a negative or neutral while merely changing the comment. However, it would be possible for a buyer to write a negative comment in a positive revision.

Why would a buyer want to do that?

You've actually had a buyer ask you that? 😑

Wouldn't we all like to hear more about the circumstances surrounding this question?

Thank you for the responses. We sent an email giving the buyer options and asked the buyer if he would remove the feedback and he was angry and said no. 5 minutes later, he asked for a fb revision. He was so needlessly angry 5 minutes before that, I didn't really trust that he wanted to give us better fb when he asked for the revision. That's why I asked the question.

So the buyer asked you to send him a feedback revision request and you refused?
What would be the worst possible result of your having complied with his request?
Even if he had not done the revision, you would have been no further behind.

I did not say I refused. I asked this question so I would have an answer before I sent it.

I get what OP is saying; buyer is asking for a 'revision' so they can nastily add even more negative verbiage to their comments; so OP is 'ignoring' the revision request as this buyer cannot be trusted.
OP- do NOT send a revision. It's simply not worth it, and you know they are still NOT happy as you stated, so the revision can only get worse. Maybe they can't change it without changing the neg to a pos, but the words can still be worse.
