Hi eBay, & eBay community.
i'm having problem adding a second tracking number.
eBay is not accepting 2nd/second tracking code , or not-updating existing page, or not-changing the 1st tracking code (even though shipping service was cancelled) into the new valid second tracking code.
i'm going here: Seller Hub > Orders > All Orders >
scrolling down to a specific order # row.
then, in "Tracking:" data line i see the 1st tracking number 94... & then there is "Edit" button after it > i'm clicking/tapping on "Edit" button > "Add or edit tracking numbers" page appears > in item's line , under the "Carrier" column or after it, there is a "[Add Another]" button/link > i'm clicking / tapping on [Add Another] button / link > a new row/line appears with two empty text-boxes > i have entered NEW TRACKING CODE "ES100..." in the box that appeared in new row, under "Tracking number" column > then selected this second tracking code's "Carrier" name (new carrier is "SpeedPak") > clicked/tapped on "Save" button > the page "All Orders" comes back.
when i check this specific order # row again , the 1st tracking is still shown there ! even if i click on it, there is no option or list to select & view tracking status for the 2nd tracking code !!
eBay please fix . eBay community please inform ebay's web-interface developer to fix this.
history : by the way, after i received my sale order , i purchased USPS tracking code from eBay . but my original supplier (foreign supplier) temporarily ran out of stock , & informed me they will not be able to supply it in my address within 15 days.
item is a wifi-router with advanced firmware (aka: operating system), which needs to be modified by advanced/expert user, before ship to buyer.
So after search, i found the item from another foreign ebay seller , so i have purchased it from that eBay seller (and used my-buyer's address as shipping-address) , that ebay seller gave me tracking code.
And i'm trying to enter that tracking-code, as my 2nd tracking code in the item that i have sold.
But eBay's web-interface is not able to add it ! or eBay purposefully not adding it !!
i have cancelled 1st tracking code payment, and again tried to add the second tracking code, but, eBay's web-interface still cannot add the second tracking code !!
i have already informed my-buyer about new second tracking code via a direct message, and informed him, that, buyer may soon see a message from eBay that shipping was cancelled, and that message actually means : 1st tracking code from USPS was cancelled, and shipment service was upgraded/changed & now using a second tracking code "ES100..." (Carrier: SpeedPak).
eBay, please fix your web-interface code , & eBay community please inform ebay's web-interface developer (if possible), to fix this.
