Do your due diligence on buying the item or buy it from someone else that offers returns.

If the item is NOT AS DESCRIBED all sellers must take returns or refund. That includes if an item is damaged in shipping.

You are pretty much covered if any problems.
If you are buying it to "try it out" you should probably pick a different seller.

Why would you want to return it?
Not accepting returns applies only to "remorse" returns.

What to do? Read the Money Back Guarantee for buyers. There you'll discover that a seller's "No Returns" stance has no bearing at all if/when a buyer receives an item that's not as described.

You can return an item no matter what if it does not match the description or arrives damaged. However, if you think you might not just like it, then you should find a seller that does accept returns.

That's the reason why many sellers have no returns.
They all know that there is really no such thing as no returns on ebay, but they hope by selecting that it will sell to a buyer that actually wants the item. Not one that's already thinking about a return.

I never think of returns when I buy something.

Many buyers are totally clueless when it comes to ebay policy, and thus are duped into believing that they can't return an item under any circumstances. As others have noted, a seller's no return policy is entirely moot if the item is not as described or damaged in shipment.

I have no idea what you should do

If a seller does not except returns and they post that on their listing. Then you purchase it, then it is your responsibility to keep the item. The seller has a right to refuse the return.

Not exactly correct per the MBG. If/when a buyer receives an item that's not as described, he can open an NAD case with eBay and will be protected by the Money Back Guarantee. Have you read it?
Your statement that "The seller has a right to refuse the return" is just plain wrong and misleading .
How can an eBayer who's been here nearly 21 years make such a statement?

Sorry, but that's not how it works on ebay. ANY buyer that opens an INAD (item not as described, doesn't match description) case immediately overrides a given seller's return policy. This is clearly stated in ebay's MBG.

Hi @yaryro_859
Well, if you are a person who frequently experiences ‘buyers remorse’ after purchasing items … then I recommend you NOT buy from a seller who doesn’t allow returns.
But if you are mainly concerned about being losing money if the item is lost in transit … or is damaged or otherwise ‘not as described’ when you receive it … then reading eBay’s Money Back Guarantee should reassure you about eBay’s buyer protection.
[I believe that @nak1212 might also benefit from reading eBay’s MBG. 🙂]
