\Istared a return case, but it seams I choose the frong option and e ay thinks the return fee is my responsibility to pay.
I choose does not fit instead of faulty. the seller does not excepts it is faulty and it seams my only option is a long small claims court process.
The purchase was two days ago and "Ask ebay to step in" option not applicable.
Any advice on this?

Does not fit is a "remorse" reason on eBay except for eBay motors where there is a green checkmark for guaranteed fit, and then there would be an additional choice of "does not fit my vehicle" which would not be "remorse".
Buyer pays return shipping for "remorse" reason (even when chosen in error)
That is not well noted, and many buyers get caught in that "trap".

What type of money are we talking here? Is it worth your time to attempt a court case?

It is not about the money, It is about the dodgy seller. I will go as far as I can and all cost will be payed by the seller with interest.
Probably I leave ebay too. It got horrible over the last few years. I hate when I cannot contact anybody if there is an issue.

My mistake, sorry.The button to ask Ebay to step in should appear after the third day.
